Boris in Banquet Services is tremendous! Our firm hosted an offsite meeting at the Gwen and Boris, our dedicated service rep, was tremendous! He went above and beyond to make our experience great! He responded so quickly to all of our requests and even went out of his way to show hospitality. He was professional, amiable, and gave the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Would definitely return and host future events.

Nice surprise We had not stayed at this hotel since it became The Gwen. We were pleasantly surprised! Our room was lovely as were the common areas. The staff were friendly and thoughtful, especially Meredith at our breakfast service. We will plan another stay here when we return to Chicago!

Elegant and comfortable Lovely rooms, great dining. The roof top is beautiful. Great shopping and sight seeing area. Modern hotel Great location Clean ,helpful staff. Nice soaps and shampoos A lovely experience. We will gladly retrurn to The Gwen

Exceptional Hospitality Let me begin by saying that The Gwen is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous rooms and it is perfectly located a block away from Michigan Avenue which is arguably the heart of one the most beautiful cities in the US, Chicago. But the best part of our stay at The Gwen was their hospitality and exceptional customer service. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and my wife and I were specifically blown away with The Gwen's Chief Concierge, Ramon Gomez. Throughout our entire stay, Ramon went above and beyond and succeeded in making our stay unforgettable. His professionalism is evident as soon as you meet him. His knowledge of the city and all of it's best spots, restaurants and hidden gems is remarkable. We were so impressed and pleased beyond our expectations with Ramon. We are grateful to have been able to travel all over the world, and Ramon He is one the greatest we have seen; a true MVP. We will most definitely be back to The Gwen!

What a great start to first trip in 18 months ! We arrived from Bangkok after a 24 hr flight and Ramon Gomez the head of concierge services was really helpful and went out of his way to help with an early check in which was most appreciated. He also got us a difficult dinner reservation and was super helpful with ideas on new places to go to The hotel has been nicely updated and the public spaces are cool. We had a very spacious room and were extremely happy with the staff and the stay The location is perfect. Connected to a mall with most shops you could want and literally short walking distance to hundreds of bars restaurants and things to see and o. Tow thumbs way up !
