Horrendous breakfast The bedroom was comfortable and quiet. I was totally disappointed in the breakfast however. The omelet, if that is what it was, was rubbery, the potatoes were soft and rubbery. Neither tasted good. The Cranberry juice was colored water, the oatmeal was tasteless and watery. I was able to eat a waffle. The coffee was good. It was the worst Hampton Inn breakfast I've ever had, and I've had many. It was a Monday morning, but no excuses for this.

Corporate needs to visit this property We stayed at this hotel 7 years ago and I gave it 3 stars. We were at this same hotel Aug 10, 2024 and if I could give it less than 1 star, I would. It's hard to believe that Hilton would have this type of hotel in their portfolio. I have contacted their corporate office as well as my sister. We both reserved and paid for the rooms though the HH app. I also checked in though the app. My daughter was in room 324, side by side of our room 322. We arrived around 7 pm. Checked in at the front desk, we were given our rooms keys. A lady from the front desk attempted to enter my daughters room stating that it was unoccupied!!! Thankfully, my husband was just coming out of our room to witness this event. The room was dirty, lack of training for the staff at the front desk, the breakfast was lacking fresh food, and to top it off, we didn't want to eat by the look of the food and old fruit. My husband grabbed a cup of coffee and it was luke warm. It was probably left over from the day before. The floors were sticky around the trash cans and in the ice machine area on the third floor. I don't know about the other floors. The sheets were too small for the bed. Both corners pulled up during the night along with the mattress pad. The comforter is heavy with no duvet on it. So, you know it hasn't been washed by the look of the edges up at the pillows. I asked my sister and her friends that stayed across the hall in room 323 and 325. They had the same issues in their shower and sheets did the same on their beds. My daughter had toothpaste from the previous guest still in the sink and it was dried. Every area of the this hotels needs to be reviewed and retrained. I wished I would have looked at Google and Yelp reviews before spending my hard earned money here. I took these photos with my phone camera. I did not enhance them in any way. What you see is what I saw in the bathroom. Thank goodness there was a Starbucks a couple of blocks to the east. We stopped there to eat, grab coffee and hot tea.

Needs cleaning and repairs We usually have good experiences with the Hampton Inn and have stayed here before, this stay was disappointing. The sheets were stained, the shower was in need of maintenance, the sink was clogged, the hot tub was out of order and there were clothes still hanging in the closet from a previous guest. This location is in serious need of quality cleaning and repairs.

Not up to Hilton standards _ This Hampton was a disappointment!! Public areas are not clean and in need of upgrades. Bed linens were soiled and room was not up to Hampton Inn and Hilton standards! Corporate Hilton needs to inspect this property and demand increased overall quality!!

Deteriorated Hotel! My wife and I have stayed here numerous times as we pass thru Childress. The hotel has deteriorated considerably since our previous stays. The room was not as clean as it should have been. The bed was not comfortable and squeaked a lot. The HV/AC functioned poorly. Personnel were not very helpful. The breakfast was very poor. Most of the food was gone and there was little to eat at 8 am. We will not be back.
