Deodorizer smell strong, otherwise fine Decent hotel, clean enough & nice enough. Hot breakfast with good options. But the carpet deodorizer (we assume) they use has an overwhelmingly strong smell all over the hotel. We’ve stayed here in past years and were pleased, but will stay elsewhere next time because the odor was not pleasant. Price was also high for a hotel more on the budget end, but that may be Clarkesville. There are at least 10 other hotels at this exit to choose from. Lots of restaurant options.

Dirty and unsafe If you like standing in your own bath water while showering, then I would recommend staying in room 424. You can ask them to come fix it every day but it's useless. Also, some of the exterior doors don't close behind you, so that a safety concern.

One employee ruined it for the whole hotel. On Dec 9th our neighborhood was devastated by a tornado, our house was destroyed. My wife and son (confined to a powerchair) were home and extremely lucky to escape without injury. In the midst of all the chaos my manager got us three nights at the Comfort Suites in Clarksville, TN for 2 adults and 2 children. We have a service dog and a cat that survived and were brought with us. The next day my daughter came with her boyfriend to watch my son while I was going to make a trip to Uhaul storage. Within just a few minutes of them arriving, some man from the front desk started banging on our door to open up. I quickly put the cat and dog in the bathroom so they wouldn't escape. I open the door and the man starts berating me to get everyone out of the room and also the "person" in the bathroom. I explained multiple times there is no one in the bathroom. It's our service dog and cat. He kept telling us everyone out and again the "person" in the bathroom. I explained my son (who was sitting on the couch) is disabled and can't walk out and it was just the 4 of us in the room (son, daughter, daughter's boyfriend, and myself) and that what you heard was me putting the service dog and cat in the bathroom so they wouldn't escape. He then changed his position about people in the room onto having an issue with the cat and we should've known their pet policy. I didn't know the policy because when I checked in they just got me into a room as quickly as possible, I didn't sign anything or put any credit card down. I explained what happened the day before and we are in the process of getting stuff to Uhaul and my daughter's boyfriend is taking the cat to his house. What was one of the worst days of our life he treated us like garbage. He also was the only one that treated us that way. All the other staff we ran into were most caring but he was an absolute nightmare. I would never recommend family or friends to stay there after the way we were treated by him.

Not the best hotel Not a great hotel. Check in process was good. It was booked full as part of our sports tournament so we were stuck with a king bed and pullout sofa bed (terrible) for 4 people. The important part of the room was clean(bed, bathroom) but floor was questionable, walls had gross stuff on them and ceiling showed signs of obvious water leaks. Breakfast was ok. However be cautious with parking, 2 vehicles in back of building were broken in to overnight. The hotel did accommodate victims of Clarksville tornado by discounting rooms and offering other travelers to change/cancel additional nights without penalty. I wouldn’t stay here again. Not a great part of town.
