Home away from home. My brother is at University Hospital in the ICU and I flew to Cleveland to be with him. The Social Worker at the hospital suggested Courtyard Cleveland University Circle. The first night I arrived I was warmly greeted by Shermetha. She has been my ray of sunshine during this most difficult time. Each evening when I return from the hospital Shermetha greets me with a huge smile and a great attitude! The hotel is quiet, my bed is comfortable, and my room is clean and updated. I would never hesitate to return. A huge thank you to the manager, Daniel, and his wonderful front desk clerk, Shermetha!

Dirty linens, smelly towels and disgusting carpet. Unbelievable! Bed sheets had stains that I was able to remove with a towel and water. So chances are that the sheets where not changed when the last guests left. Asked for sheets for the sofá-bed and they were stained with something red. The smell was terrible. The towels smelled really bad. The carpet is kind of moldy with black stains. It needs a shampoo urgently. It felt so gross to walk on it. The shower curtains with yellow dirt… I just can’t believe that we are in a pandemic and a hotel dares to have things so dirty. This hotel is near the Cleveland Clinic! Never again.

Valet steals! Valet plundered through our vehicle and robbed us - stole $60 cash plus change. We usually stay at another hotel chain due to proximity to hospital and have never had that happen. Very disappointing! Rummaged through front and back of vehicle. Being BONVOY member, this is very upsetting!

will not stay there again I chose this property based on its convenient location. My room was spacious, with two queen beds. The hotel falls short in several ways and I do not accept that Covid is to be blamed for all the failings. I stayed for two nights, arriving 6/4/21, checking out 6/6/21. The online information on many sites states that this property has a pool; it does, but the pool is closed. When I checked in, I was asked at the front desk if I wanted daily housekeeping service. I said that I did. Front desk staff were minimally friendly. There was a man out in the driveway/parking area during the day, who was very nice. When I returned to my room at about 10pm that night, my room had not been serviced. I went down to the lobby for some clean towels. For the lobby "cafe," I was not expecting much, but they advertise that they offer yogurt, fresh fruit, Starbucks coffee, and bagels. This is along the lines of a snack bar on a train. They did have a few yogurts in a refrigerated case. There were two bagels on a serving plate. The fruit selection was ONE dark brown banana on a plate, for which the cafe server apologized without my saying anything.

Awful experience do not stay The room was dirty, I found hair in the beds and my sheets were also stained. The manager Daniel was also very rude and not accommodating at all. Would highly recommend not staying here and looking for other nearby hotels.
