Could have been complicated, but was simple instead! 8/10. Another long ride and thanks to locals I was able to source a Quality Inn that was in a relatively safe area. Apparently there are some areas where vehicles are getting targeted for break in / vandalism etc. Not great news for a motorcycle being parked outside. So, do your homework in this area. Anyway, the airport Quality Inn was in a good area, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and provided a safe and comfortable evening's worth of sleep.

Moldy Room was moldy because the carpet had flooded at one time and they hadn’t dried it properly. They knew this was a problem because the front desk clerk said they knew it was a problem. We arrived late at night, after midnight, and I couldn’t even stand in the room. So, we were exhausted from a long trip, it was late at night and we had to move our room.

clean and close to the airport This is not a fancy upscale hotel but it is clean and offers a good value. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the hotel is very close to the airport. It has a decent pool and friendly staff and the breakfast is decent. This is where we stay when we have an early flight.

Excellent Stay, Until... I thought I had the perfect stay until I checked out and discovered that the generator to my van had been stolen. Unfortunately I couldn't stay to contact the police because I was under a schedule to deliver a load and be in another state, but I thought I could at least contact Management while I was on the road to report what happened. As of this writing, about 35 hours after my discovery and first call to the hotel, I am still waiting for someone to return my call. I have made at least three attempts to talk to the Manager, and all I get is excuses that she is not available. I even found out from my last attempt that there were was no note of me making any call, and nothing was done to notify the Manager. I am highly disappointed for the lack of response. My stay was perfect, but I find it quite disturbing that there is no urgency on the hotel's part to at least call me back. I love staying at the Quality Inn Hotels and have had no issues with any other of the locations where I've stayed over the past few months, and will not assume that this particular site is a reflection of how other hotels within the Choice brand handle such unfortunate events as the one I have experienced. If you decide to stay here, please protect your belongings, and don't count on Management to help if something happens to you or your possessions.

Great Hotel in Colorado Springs Nice, clean hotel; great view of mountains; friendly staff; super breakfast; and an all-around pleasant hotel experience. Close access to freeways and it's easy to go downtown and/or to Old Town and Manitou Springs. Would definitely stay here again.
