Not a non-smoking room as advertised. Barely minimum accommodations and cleanliness and a room that had been smoked in very recently was what I encountered.

Bad staff and broken items Staff at chech-in was dismissive, room was in poor condition, ice machines didn't work, no luggage carts available to assist with checking in or out.

Worst staff service ever Overnight guy screamed at me for opening a cabinet to search for a bowl for cereal for my daughter at breakfast after I woke him when he was sleeping on sofa in front of lobby tv. Day lady wouldn’t replace faulty key, made me go up and down 3 times and questioned not seeing me go up before she finally replaced it. Cleaning ladies had better manners than staff.

A Cautionary Tale: Would not recommend this facility and I certainly won't be back. I rarely write a review on anything, but in this case, I feel that a word of caution might be in order if electing to darken their doorstop. The Good: (Trying to be fair) - The grounds looked kept and clean - The bed was made and reasonably comfortable. - The little microwave and fridge/freezer worked well. Nice that it had separated fridge/freezer as the ones inside the fridge rarely work well. The Bad, and the Ugly: - Front desk staff made me pay security deposit up front (which wasn't a big deal), but they acted put out that I used my credit card for it and not cash, which is what they did to the person that checked in ahead of me in line. - Upon entering my room, it had an air of mustiness like it had sat for a while with no air circulation. - I noticed broken cover plates for plugs and the plugs themselves are so worn out that nothing stays plugged in very well. - The bathroom faucet had a reasonable flow of water that would not shut off completely and ran the entire time I was there. I called down and explained this to staff but was blown off and NO offer to move me to a different room. - The safety lock swing arm on the door side was gone and there was no dead bolt. Later in the evening I heard a lot of racket in the hallway that didn't sound good. Thankfully, the bathroom door opened out towards the front door, so I used it to create an additional barricade to keep anyone from entering. - The next morning when I went to take shower, turned on the water and the shower head just blasted the wall behind it and very little water came out of the nozzle. I Literally had to grab a cup and fill it over and over to wash hair, rinse, repeat... etc. - Tried to communicate this to the night attendant but was not able to find said person. After ringing the bell, a couple of times and sitting there for several minutes a guy on the other side of the room in the very disappointing "continental breakfast" (not sure which continent they were trying to replicate) ... says, "you can stop. I'll get over there when I'm done over here". Keep in mind he was there the entire time and just chose to ignore me while I waited. While aggravated, I attempted to do the "right thing" and wandered over to explain the problems with the room. He made it pretty clear he wasn't really listening and after repeating myself a couple of times he eventually went back to the desk, got a piece of paper, and then I had to repeat ALL of it again for him to write it down. - The breakfast (I didn't bother), but it was supposed to be up and going from 6 - 9, but at 6:45 when I was checking out, they were just getting around to turning stuff on and there wasn't really anything over there. So, to summarize: 1. Can't really recommend this place. 2. Don't expect customer service or respect. 3. Don't expect your room will be clean or function normally or that basic things like plumbing will work properly. 4. Don't expect that staff will actually do anything to remedy issues or concerns. And, 5. As of the writing of this review my "security deposit" still has not been refunded. Normally, it's just a hold that is put on the account and is removed by the hotel when you check out, but they actually charged my card for the deposit in addition to the cost of the room. -- Follow up on #5 - called them and when they picked up it sounded like they were in the middle of arguing with someone, took a few breaths, then spoke to me. I explained and was told that it would be refunded sometime over the next few days. Very short, ended the call. Conclusion: Crossed this facility off my list. I will not return here. If you decide it's the right place for you, I recommend you go into it with an air of caution and very low expectations.
