Lack luster staffing The room was nice, the pool was nice except there were teenage boys in the pool area with no supervision, horseplaying jumping into the pool with shoes and socks on, scream and making it generally uncomfortable. In the morning the fire alarms went off. We grabbed our kids and went downstairs and outside. No one ever came to say it was a false alarm or it was clear to come inside. I went around to the front desk and the staff was leaning against the counter talking. We went down to breakfast and 8:45 am, which said there was breakfast until 10 and there was nothing except some smoked sausage in water. No bread, no oatmeal, litterally nothing left. We checked out and left, no one asked how the stay was or anything. We are Hilton honors members and this was the worst staffing we’ve encountered.

Disgusting! Pick another location if you can! We checked in, went up to our room and upon checking the beds, went and checked out. See pictures-looks like something is living in the mattress. Not up to Hilton standards! The front desk manager was very apologetic and immediately refunded us.

Good stay We stayed at this property for 1 night on our way home from NY. It's in a convenient location with shopping and restaurants nearby. Our room was the standard Homewood suite. It was clean and well maintained. We did notice some noise from BWI Airport. The fitness center was larger than normal for Homewood and was pretty well equipped. The breakfast was pretty good and items were replenished promptly. We'd stay again.

Room expectations We arrived and saw the outside trashcans and inside ones especially by the elevator overflowing. Upon arriving in our room the AC was turned off and the temp was 89 degrees inside the room. The temp did drop about one degree and hour needless to say it was uncomfortable for several hours . Arrival about 7pm. Who cuts off the AC in the summertime at a hotel?. No soap at the kitchen sink or dishsoap. Fingerprints all over the fridge. Housekeeper was still cleaning rooms at 8pm. Also only two carts for luggage transport in the entire hotel. We had to make three trips for our stuff. I notified the parent company via email . The responding email said I would be contacted in three days. Its been nine days now and never heard back from email or phone.

Choose another hotel Wow! Where do I begin? My boyfriend is a Diamond member and always stays at Homewood or Home2. This property is a complete mess. First, we booked it partially because it has an indoor pool and hot tub. Well forget they even exist because both are so cold you wouldn’t ever want to get in them. Second, one would think a working (ie flushing) toilet would not help asking for too much in a hotel room. Well, the room we stayed in, 209, did not have a functioning toilet. How frustrating that is and when we called for maintenance, the guy brought a plunger as if there was something we put in it that made it not flush…not at all the case. It didn’t work from the minute we walked in that room and it never did work properly during our whole stay even after another guy came to work on it. Third, the phone in the living room doesn’t work so my boyfriend had to call the front desk to ask for maintenance using his cell. Again, unacceptable. Fourth, the kitchen sinks drips and leaks under the sink and there’s water on the floor. I have no idea how the room below isn’t wet. It’s a weird setup in that you can’t access under the sink and for that reason there was a very small trash can in the living room. Were used to large cans under the sink. Do NOT stay here and if you do, do not stay in room 209. It needs to be completely closed until the proper maintenance can be done on it. Best of luck if you decide to book here.
