Quality Inn & Suites

Basic, chepest in Columbus I have stayed at this motel at various times from when it was a Dollar Inn in 1990, a Motel 6 in 2012 and now a Quality Inn. While the room interior has noticeably improved, the exterior still needs some work. Checkin was quick with a polite lady. Room 242 was recently renovated; the air conditioning cord still had the plastic wrapper! Floor, bed and furniture were all new, and the bathroom looked new too. A/C worked great, but didn’t drain so the room got cooler and the humidity went up. Large TV worked fine with crystal clear picture. Bathroom sink and tub had plenty of hot water and great pressure. Refrigerator worked great, Microwave didn’t work, I don’t think it was plugged in (I reported on checkout). A/C controls were difficult to see and understand. The towels were thin, thin, thin, an embarrassment to Quality Inn. I slept pretty good in the bed, while not the best (just a mattress on a wooden frame) they were OK. The breakfast area was small, but had bread, eggs, cereal, toaster and a waffle maker. On the outside, it still needs work. The parking lot has potholes and garbage and needs repaving or re-sealing. The West side of the building looks good, with recent stucco, but the stairs are still uneven and vary in height making them dangerous. The East side is a disaster with one stairwell completely exposed and other areas falling apart. All the windows need a good cleaning. I’d probably stay here again, it’s half the rate of most of the other hotels, but it’s also not as nice, but the interior renovations make it worth it. I tend to like Quality Inn’s.

Poor choice Front desk man very rude - yelling and hung up when trying to make reservation. Room dirty and reeks of cigarette smoking despite being nonsmoking . Bathroom smells like a sewer . Tv doesn’t work . Don’t recommend.

Highly recommended , great value Area is quite and nice place to spend time with family and kids . Easy accessible to the restaurants, people are friendly over their. Rooms are neat they have done the renovation recently. Definitely I'll stay again there when I'm in Columbus

Great value Front desk Lady was sweet! Everything was good ! Looks like they have Remodel rooms and they are looking so nice.Stopped in, just needing a place to stay for the night and presently surprised at the cleanliness of the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Best place with best price. 5 star services with amazing staff members, had a great time with my family here. Clean spacious room, comfortable beds. Free morning breakfast with enough varieties for everyone in the family. Definitely recommend.
