Saved the Day My friend and I went to Hillard, OH for a Red Hat Society event. Neither of us had ever stayed at a Country Inn. This place was wonderful. Room was very clean, beds comfortable. breakfast was fine. When we checked out the gentleman taking care of the breakfast area took our keys. We went out loaded the car and was ready to leave when he came out, approached our car and said "Something made me go check your room, is this yours? It was a small necklace, the last gift her husband had bought her. We will definitely stay there the next time we go to that area.

If you can find it, it's clean and comfortable Except for the slight difficulty of finding the place (hint: it's just beyond the Best Western), we had no real complaints. Our room wasn't quite as spacious as other Country Inn & Suites that we've stayed at, but we were arriving late and leaving immediately in the morning, and we didn't bring a lot of stuff in. Breakfast was adequate and mundane.

Pool Closed, Front Desk Unhelpful The pool was closed and the front desk unavailable to answer questions. Only stay here if you really dislike yourself and/or your family. It's a good place for those who enjoy disappointments. What is good about this place? The toilets were clean enough and the bed sheets only minimally stained.

Lots of other hotels nearby--go there instead! If you are looking for a clean room, this is the place. Looking for that good free breakfast? It's free, but hardly up to the chain's standards. Hot food not hot. Cold items (frig), warm. Not alot of anything, Customer service is appalling. This was my second stay and it hasn't changed. The management are not friendly or accommodating. No one is ever at the front desk, and though persons are in a side room they take their time coming out to help. The worst is their front desk. From one end to the other are signs telling guests all the things they can't do and how much they'll pay in fees or fines if they do--from pool to breakfast to guests in rooms after 9 pm. It's one thing to have rules, it's another to post them like the Great Wall of China all across the front desk where guests should feel welcome. Will NEVER return here.

A Few Tweaks Wouldn't Hurt This was my second overnight at A Country Inn & Suites. This one, however, didn't quite measure up to my stay at a different Country Inn. We were relieved that we were still able to check in without difficulty quite late at night. The building was situated reasonably close to the highway but finding the actual hotel amidst other hotels and housing was a bit confusing. The pristine, spotless appearance of the public areas was the first thing I noticed. Unfortunately the lighting in our dark room was completely insufficient. We did eventually discover a lamp on the desk but the on/off switch was not intuitive and these very weary travelers simply wanted to unpack and fall into bed. Good thing the lighting in the bathroom turned out to be fine. But where were the additional tissues? We quickly used the few that remained from previous guests but could not locate an additional box. The bed was comfortable and we slept very soundly. Even though we could see traffic in the distance from our window, the room was quiet. The breakfast buffet and selection was just EH. But it got us through the final leg of our trip.
