Great visit Fantastic rooms and the staff is simple outstanding! All the staff were accommodating and very helpful. They printed school homework and brought towels when needed. Always smiling and asking if there was anything they could do to help. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the stay. WELL DONE !!!!!!!!

Great hotel close to Ross Heart Center My husband had an unexpected stay at Ross Heart Center. Hotel is less than a mile from the hospital and very easy to get to and from. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had to call for an extra night after checking out and it wasn’t a problem and got the same rate. First night heard some noise from the train tracks but the second night on the opposite side all was quiet. Rooms were clean and very well appointed. The free breakfast had something for everyone. Bob Evans is right next door and other restaurants less than close by. Great Italian one in the strip mall a mile away.

Family overnight My family of 6 stayed here for one night on our way home to PA from MO. The man at the front dest was REALLY friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and slept all 6 of us easily. The "living room" side of the room has a couch with a trundle bed that comes from underneath and when you take the back cushions off the couch, that also is the size of a twin. So rather than a typical hotel pull out couch, you get a more comfortable twin mattress to sleep on. This is the 3rd or 4th hotel that we've stayed in recently that did not have the bedding for the sofa bed and we had to ask. Not a big deal as they brought it right away, but it seems to be a trend no matter what hotel we stay in. The mini fridge was weird and hard to figure out. It had a button on the inside for "2 hour cool" and "8 hours off". We had some medications that needed to be refrigerated and didn't know how to work it (we still had frozen ice packs so all was well but it would have been an issue if we were staying more than one night). Also, there's no freezer in the mini fridge. The TV is sort of in a weird spot. It's between where the beds are and where the couch is. I suppose that's so you can watch from either area but you definitely can't watch from both areas at the same time. Not from the bed on the far side of the room anyway. The pool was closed while we were there because they were doing some kind of work on the ceiling. Not a really big deal but my kids had wanted to swim so it was kind of a bummer. If you are planning on going soon (July 2021) you might want to call to check on that if it's something you want to use. Breakfast was open and they had a hot buffet. Waffle maker, egg sandwiches, cereal, yogurt, etc...Pretty typical for a hotel that serves full breakfast and we were happy to have it! There are train tracks that are just behind the hotel....but I must say, I don't think I heard it even one time while we were there. It was actually July 4th too and we did hear some fireworks in the distance but not noisy enough to keep us awake. There is a small outdoor patio off the breakfast area. It has a nice little waterfall feature. We didn't sit out there but would have if we stayed longer. Overall a great stay!

Great place to stay near OSU We stayed here in mid Apri 2021 for a college visit for my daughter. This was our first trip to Columbus and OSU and didn't know much about the town. As we checked to see if our room might be available for early check in (which it was), we were greeted by the General Manager, All Schreiber. What a great guy. Al helped us with planning our campus tour. He advised on great parking, how to find the areas of campus that would be important to us and where to eat. He was welcoming and friendly. He also gave us ideas of where to eat dinner and how to get there. All of his recommendations were spot on on and we had a great visit. Our dinner out into Short North was into a part of Columbus that we probably wouldn't have gone to without his prompting. And it was a really a vibrant, fun area of town. Our room was clean, HUGE and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure was good and plenty of hot water. The living space in the room included a couch and big desk that made for good use of the room. The common spaces in the hotel were clean. It was nice to have a bar on site for a late night drink while my daughter used the gym. She said the equipment choices were fine. All of the workers were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Columbus.

Convenient stop - modern/friendly/clean hotel Stopped here for one night driving from the Midwest back to the east coast. Would definitely return if the price is right. Main takeaways as such - Pros: - Really friendly and genuine front desk staff - SUPER clean room - couldn’t find one fault - Decent Covid-era breakfast - Close to restaurants / 670 - Stylish room including quality West Elm furniture and separate toilet and bath facilities (both with a sink - might not be as convenient if travelling with kids) - Very little noise from other guests Cons: - Something was loud in the room at night (AC?) - not a huge deal breaker but might be for light sleepers - Didn’t get a high floor (as per profile) or a decent view despite Gold status (though this was understandable as booked it a couple hours prior and seemed to be lots of Marriott elites staying) - A bit difficult to see the TV from beds, especially the one nearer to the window FYI: - TV stopped working (wouldn’t change channels) and had to be unplugged and restarted - not just turned on and off - (We were warned, in fairness!) but the hotel-provided corkscrew broke whilst in the wine cork and ended up having to push in the cork Like I said - would definitely stay again, especially in more normal times if need be.
