Nice place We had a good experience. The staff was friendly and nice. The room was very large. The beds were very comfortable. The room and sheets were clean. The bathtub had a rust spot and drained slowly. The breakfast was OK, not great, but comparable to similar hotels and there was plenty of everything.

Perfect for families! Fabulous gathering and experience during our family/friends eclipse stay! We traveled from Texas, Alaska, and Washington for this event. The suite rooms were spacious for couples and a small family with two youngsters. The refrigerator and microwave were a nice plus for our stay….As we bought our own food in preparation for lack of food availability. Across the hotel parking lot is a Super Walmart that was well stocked! A huge breakfast and gathering area was also available for our evening meals. The kids loved the Texas shaped waffle iron! Indoor swimming pool a big kids draw too though not heated. Housekeeping great! Rooms tidy and everything functional. The location is off the main road, so the room was very quiet. But the biggest plus? THE STAFF! They really supported our eclipse event. We set up 5 telescopes in unobstructed parking lot and had perfect viewing! Mother Nature helped! The hotel provided snack bags, freshly baked cookies, eclipse activity brochure….Staff managed to breakaway and join us for the moments of the total eclipse. All in All an enjoyable and successful reunion….much thanks to our stay at the Comfort Suites! Kudos to the entire staff!

great deal for the price! I travel to Killeen, TX for a meeting about 4 times a year. I typically stay in Killeen when I am there. A friend suggested trying a hotel in Copperas Cove since it is a relatively short drive. I am so glad I searched for one. This hotel was reasonably priced. It was a spacious room that had two double beds as well as a sofa (with hide a bed) and a settee. The room had everything you need when traveling on business. I generally find that hotels that run at this price are older and do not have things like usb plugs, flat screens etc.. This hotel had all of those. It had an indoor pool (which I did not try or go to look at). It has breakfast in the morning and even though I did not eat my husband went down and they had eggs and bacon. He was pleased with that. The one thing I thought was an especially nice touch was in the bathroom they actually had shower caps. I typically on a one night stay will not wash my hair because I have to straighten it (ladies you will enjoy this extra). Most hotels will not simply include these type of necessities anymore because it is not cost effective. When I went to thank them at the front desk they let me know it is the owners wife who insist on those things for the room. She deserves a shout out for the little touches. The beds are medium soft. I am a firm bed person but was able to sleep fine on the mattress. The room was well cleaned. There are little reading lights attached to bed lamps that are very practical. There was a fridge with a very small freezer section, so we were able to keep our cooler ice bags frozen. There was a microwave and an iron ...all the typical stuff. This will be our go to place!

Superbowl weekend The hotel Location is great! lots to shopping and restaurants just across the street. There is a movie theater at the corner of the block, Walmart, & HEB within walking distance. The room was great (104) just a door down from the breakfast area, the bed was comfortable, and the heater worked really well. The bathroom had some cosmetic issues for me. The shelf over the toilet was not there but the equipment to hold it up and in place was still there and rusted. The tub had mark or stain in the middle where a shower mat must have been. The tub/shower didn't drain as well, it started to pool. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. property looks really good and clean.

Terrible experience Stayed here for work was supposed to be here for a quick trip, arriving Monday and leaving Tuesday. Ended up staying until Friday due to the ice storm. None of the amenities in this hotel actually work. Wifi doesn’t work. Treadmill in the gym is broken, pool is broken. They offer guest laundry and the washing machine is broken. Very difficult to speak to the front desk staff as they are always either in the office or sitting in the lobby watching TV. Will not be coming back.
