Corbin Inn

Pleasant Surprise We were stopped on I-75 north of Lexington without moving for exactly an hour due to a tractor-trailer on its side and burned up. Our plan had been to make it to Bristol, TN by the time we stopped, but that was not the case. We were exhausted. Normally, we would never stop at a Knight's Inn, but the ad in the hotel magazine for KY said, "Park at your door," so I knew is was a single-story motel. The name had been changed to something like, "Corbin Inn," but it was obviously an old Knight's Inn. We can't speak for others or other rooms. We were in 109. Everything worked. Everything was clean. Not only did the door to the bathroom close and lock properly - one of my personal measures of a well-managed and maintained hotel - but the bathroom overhead light had a working fan. (So many hotels and motels have stopped providing these.) The most charming thing to my wife was the red microwave atop the matching red refrigerator. It appeared to be baked enamel like an old Coke machine. It was advertised for less than $50, and when taxes were included, the final bill was still under $50. I have no complaints. If I'm ever forced to stay in Corbin again, I will most certainly stay at this motel. What more can I say? For that particular stay, for that price, and for that location, I would say it was a 5-star experience in a 2-star motel in Corbin, KY, and our best experience, hotel or motel, on a 3900-mile, multi-state driving trip that included stays in TX, AR, TN, OH, and NC.

Stealers!!! I left a pair of Adidas shoes, brand new, there by mistake and called back to see if they and them so I could go pick them up but when I asked about it they said hasn’t seen any shoes in the room I stayed in. I know one has to be responsible with their belongings but still, I want to stay in a hotel where I know if anything gets lost, it will be found and returned safely.

Negative reviews are NOT TRUE in my experience seen some recent reviews on this place...makes me sad. I’ve been staying at knights Inn for a long time and its nothing like whats being said. They treat everyone kindly, rooms are clean, and i always get my deposit back when i check out. when i saw the negative reviews i had to set the record straight. some people may have a different experience if they are not following the rules of the hotel but me and my family have never had any complaints. As far as I know right now the pool and breakfast are closed but that’s temporary. I’m glad they’re being safe during all this COVID stuff. I WILL be staying again. If you’re looking for a CLEAN place with FRIENDLY staff for an affordable price you can’t do much better than there.

Avoid this place like the plague. Absolutely the worst hotel experience ever.Rooms are old,musty and couldnt use the bathroom sink because the stopper doesn't work. Evidence of drug use,constant in and out traffic.items left behind not turned in.Advertises breakfast,wasnt open,other nearby hotels were.Never an apology,or offer to make it right.i have 600 followers on Facebook and 3,700 friends,they will all be warned

Good budget motel in Corbin, Kentucky The Knights Inn is located behind the Fairfield and has free parking. My check in went quickly. The motel has free wi-fi and breakfast. The rooms have outside entries. The room was good and had everything I needed. It was quiet and I got a good night's sleep. My check out went quickly, as well.
