Great quick stop ! Affordable, clean & appreciated the hot breakfast ! Needed a quick stop on a mufti-leg trip. The host gladly accommodated us despite a late arrival. With a location just off the highway, this worked well. There are clearly updates underway & we found it to be very clean with a friendly host.

Maybe once remodeling done? The lobby was modern looking but when we went to take the elevator, there was construction going on down the entire first floor hallway. Thought maybe our second floor had already been completed but soon realized NOT. Our room was acceptable but needs a bit of a refresh--painting and retile of broken ones in the bathroom. The morning we awoke, the bathroom lights were flashing, hallway emergency lights were on, and the elevator was not working. It is on the opposite side of the the highway than all the other hotels and restaurants so not convenient if you needed a meal, but worked okay for our late night check-in and just a place to sleep for the night. I like when there is a dispenser in the shower for shampoo and conditioner instead of small bottles, but their version was a plastic bottle that needed to be squeezed and our old hands found it difficult to dispense. Bed and pillows were comfy. AC worked well. No real problems with the room(although double beds were very high off the ground and I could see this being a problem for shorter and older individuals--would hate to see a kid roll off the side at that height).

Could be great, but wasn't All we needed was a clean place to shower and sleep and Clarion Pointe succeeded in providing that. But they need to get one or more maintenance people out there to fix everything that doesn't work--everything from electrical outlets to faucets to the AC to the lobby restrooms...

Seriously the best price for a very nice stay... Check-in was awesome. We had been on the road for nearly 9 hours, and my daughter found the hotel online and booked it just a few minutes before we arrived. Even though it was maybe 11:30 to midnight when we got there, the gal at the front desk was super friendly, nice big smile, dressed very nicely, and just helpful all around. The breakfast offered at the hotel was much better than what I've seen at other places these last couple of years. Hot breakfast items like biscuits & gravy and waffles, as well as yogurts and cereals. The location was perfect, as it was just a few minutes' drive from the Indiana Caverns, which was our whole purpose of being there, as well as just a couple minutes' drive to a huge selection of places to eat... like Culver's! Check-out is just too easy. Just drop your keycards in the bucket on the front desk, as long as you already paid, and be off. Another note I'd like to point out is, the first night we stayed (Sunday night), I was unaware we had a membership to collect points. After I had already checked in and paid, my husband texted me about it. lol. Well, the next morning before check-out, I asked the gal at the front desk if she would be able to adjust our stay by putting our number in even though I had paid the night before. In most places, they would not do adjustments like this if I had already paid, so I almost didn't even ask. But she did it for me! I was so grateful! So, on our way back through later that week (Friday night), we chose this location again. And again, everything went smoothly, and I couldn't ask for a better price point for all the things we had available to us. A much better breakfast than any hotel we've stayed at the past couple of years, clean and tidy rooms, coffee pot, micro, fridge, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, renovated rooms, tv, free parking, etc., for a fraction of the cost we've been paying recently. There is some renovations going on, but everything was clean, neat and tidy while we were there. It was nice.

Not as nice as it once was!! I came to town this past weekend to hike and see caves. I have stayed here many times before, in years since this hotel has slipped. I was greeted and the staff was nice and room clean. The fridge did not work so my cold drinks for the hiking where warm. The air in the room was not working at any setting. it would run just stop. It was hot as heck. Then after I went to bed other guest came in first floor hall with dogs barking. one was a large pitt mix the other a toy dog. because I saw then in the hall in the morning still barking. What upsets me they make more money renting out pet rooms. I did not get a discount dealing with it. So much for a good night's sleep. I thought they were doing a remodel, but I goes not. The next time I am in town I will shop around for a better hotel.
