Rustic getaway mini vacation Great place to relax in a rustic cabin setting. We had a full cabin, Duck cabin. It is pretty spacious and we enjoyed the surroundings with the sound of stream and campfire. There are several things you can do nearby within 30 minutes or so. There are no stores nearby except Dollar general so just have to make sure to bring your food and items. There is no TV but good WiFi.

Worst place to stay in. This place was like a haunted house. It stunk so bad was awful. I spent 1 night and gone early morning and returned late evening then the smell again terrible. I looked toward the window look like blood stains on the wall. I decided to leave so I called a friend and verified I was coming then I pack up to leave took out 2 bags and there was a car parked with its headlights on and toward me I ran back inside to grab up my last bags and ran back to the car then I car pulls in behind me and follows me down the road all the way to 221 in Scottville. I called the manager and she had nothing nice to say and was very rude then come to.find out my bank verified that I was charged for another night being 3 nights and I had already spoken to the owner and she refused to reimburse me for a night I didn't reserve further she sure wasn't giving me a refund.on the other 2 nights I had stayed and left by 11 pm the second night. This place ripped me off and I don't believe it was the first time because my house burnt down and I had previously stayed there before and the place just got worse and very dirty and stinks. Best look at your bank statements cause like I said I was charges for 1 night I didn't reserve for.

Property was dishonest and overcharged during the booking process. I had a very serious problem with this property and they acted dishonestly. I booked through Booking . com, and it clearly stated that it was a non-refundable reservation and the total would be $135. No additional fees or charges were disclosed anywhere on the page for this property. However, when I clicked the button to book, I got a credit card alert that $163 had been charged to my credit card. I got a message through Booking . com from the property, and buried in there in noted I had been charged a "$28 cleaning fee for a medium sized cabin". I sent a message back saying that I had been overcharged as this cleaning fee was not disclosed anywhere on the property's page on Booking . com. They stated that it was but they could ask Booking and Priceline to make it more prominent. However, this was untrue at least as to Booking - it is no where on the page. They tried to cancel my reservation without my permission with Booking.com, sending them a message saying I had engaged in "guest misconduct" and had "yelled" at them. I had not been a guest yet and never spoke to them, nor did I send any messages that could be interpreted as "yelling". I only asked for a refund of the overcharge. I explicitly told them several times that I didn't want to cancel my reservation, I was just contesting the extra money they charged because it was not disclosed. However, I got notification that they refunded the entire amount of the charge, although I still had an active booking. I contacted them explaining that I did not cancel the reservation and was happy to pay the agreed upon amount of $135, and asked them to confirm that I still had a reservation. They never responded. I had two long phone calls with Customer Service at Booking . com, and the property would not respond to them either. After hours on the phone with Booking. com, they helped cancel the reservation. Booking . com confirmed that this property did not disclose a cleaning fee anywhere on their page. At any rate, the behavior on the part of this property was dishonest and unprofessional. I do not know about how the property is, but I am very concerned about how they behaved during the booking process. Honestly, if the property had just responded to my initial complaint about the overcharge and admitted they made a mistake in not disclosing the cleaning fee ahead of time, I would have just paid it. My main concern is just that this property not continue this practice of charging customers for fees that are not disclosed ahead of time.

Beautiful place We rented two cabins, and the area is beautiful, the services was good, the cabins was very clean and nice. The road to access one of the cabin is a little bit rough but is beautiful cabin!! The other one was at the entrance and the kitchen is very tiny, and some people get confused because was at the same building of the check in store and wanted enter to our cabin to use the bathroom. But overall the place is a beautiful place to stay

The cabins at healing springs I walked into my cabin the pine and it had an awful smell. Later I find awful smell in the soap in bathroom. Then stains on the wall a bed post hanging the floors and all were dirty. It made me nausea and sick. Then I call a friend and leave at 11 pm I walk out to take my bags and a car on my right has his headlights on but c then turns off. Next I ran back to get my other bags as I was going to my car then a white car with a torn off front end come flying in and parked behind my car. My phone was being hacked there and I found someone had used my identity and made up email so I couldn't leave a review. I called the office and there was no apology and I ask if at the least reimbursement for the 3rd night since I couldn't stay a 2nd night. I have been nauseated and sick since I left there. . What a nightmare. I would not recommend this place. If you've stayed in the past then I would recommend you check your bank to see if you were overcharged.
