Good spot for a day off the AT Clean and comfortable rooms, nice breakfast, convenient, location, and most importantly, a friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to restaurants in town For a budget hotel, this was terrific. I used it for an off day due to bad weather on the Appalachian Trail.

Decent place I chose this hotel basically because of the price and I've stayed at quality inns before and it was kind of in the middle of the attractions that we were visiting. I will say it's very quiet. the bed wasn't the most comfortable but it was a nice clean room. My only issue is the small amounts of lotion conditioner and shampoo that they give you I was expecting some shower gel but there was none. The hotel Wi-Fi was good. Pool was covered, maybe because it was April. The Continental hot breakfast in the morning was decent but the area is small. fortunately we went downstairs close to closing so we were the only ones in there but I imagine it being a little cramped if a lot of people are in there. Hotel personnel were very nice, we had no problems. And there's nothing really close as far as restaurants are concerned and most of the things seem to be closed. Monday when we checked in most all restaurants were closed or closing early. you'll have to drive a little bit to go to a restaurant. I would stay here again if the situation arises for me to be in this area.

Disappointing Should be called a motel. Has seen better days. Manager offered no welcome and wasn't forthcoming. Argued with a guest about giving her more shower gel bottles for 4 people. There was a tiny bottle in the room. Curtain on the window was torn. Room was fly- and ant - infested. We told the manager (who was aware of the situation). Later that day there was a bug spray can in our room. The breakfast room has space for 12 people (for a 40+ room hotel?) and was always cramped. The manager's appearance was scruffy, the reception area untidy (washcloths lying on the floor). Coffee was watered down. Staff unfriendly. The hairdryer was overheating after 10 seconds and although we informed the manager, was never fixed. he concept of providing services and meeting the wishes of the customer should be a hotel's top priority. This place conveys the opposite. We cut our stay one day short.

Helpful front desk Clean, comfortable beds. Ample parking. Near downtown. Hot beverages in the lobby. Breakfast included continental breakfast, apples, waffles, and heat-to-go items. Very helpful front desk helped resolve my booking problem. Thank you!

Shabby room, Poor quality Rooms are in need of update and had a musty smell. Kept door open to air out. Bathroom is small. Few low grade toiletries offered. Breakfast was good but very small dining area. Crowded in morning. Staff was very friendly. Parking was tight and minimal.
