Clean, Affordable and Very Pleasant While on a road trip to Florida we were seeking out hotels that were close to the highway and affordable. Boy did we hit the jackpot with this one!!! So clean and I love that there isn’t carpet in the rooms! The bedding was beautiful and crisp! The bathroom was very clean and the shower had great pressure!! It even had an exhaust fan - seems to be a missing thing these days! The front desk was prepared when we arrived and the young lady who served me was extremely pleasant and helpful - I forgot to put a package in the mail when we left Michigan and she took care of it for me! If you’re road tripping make sure to use the Red Roof Inn as your overnight. You will not be disappointed.

Family trip My husband and I were traveling to Florida with our 2 young kids. We had driven through Savannah area and the kids needed to get out of the car for a good night sleep. We had called the Hampton Inn at Darien and it was full. He said "the only one I recommend in the area would be the Red Roof." So we went there, despite the reviews, which you should ignore anything 2020 and back. The family that just purchased this hotel in 2021 has been renovating and it is looking nice. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure in shower was good and water was hot, the room was clean and bedding was new and fresh. The room was simple and had no decor except essential items. But again they are remodeling and bedding and cleanliness is more important to us. We also felt safe at this hotel with two small kids. The only complaint I had and I let them know was the AC unit was loud, but it worked and almost became a white noise. They did not have breakfast, but when we asked they are planning it but had to get new equipment, since they were not aware how old the ones that came with hotel when they bought it. Also, they are working with new COVID guidelines for serving food. Both check-in and check-out was pleasant and easy, Tina, Jack & Diya were very nice and accommodating. We will be staying here in the future a d recommend it.

Newly Remodeled Hotel I have stayed at a couple other hotels in Darien along I-95 and Hwy 251, the Red Roof Inn has been the nicest. This use to be a Days Inn, it's now a Red Roof Inn, completely remodeled. Very nice staff, always greeted me coming or going. Darien Ga is a wonderful little town. Great seafood! Nice Hotel at a great rate!

DO NOT stay here! Found Coupon for this hotel at rest stop on I-16 E just east of Dublin, GA... listed as being "Ultra Clean"... Checked in 6/26 @ 4:48pm.. first room (204) had no phone and inop TV.. new room assigned (212)... left bags and went out to dinner/sightseeing... returned around 8:30 to find bugs on the pillow (see Pic)... grabbed bags and checked out... clerk would not come down to front desk to address complaint and refused to refund funds... I filed a complaint with Health department... and will NEVER condider a stay at Days Inn Darien again.
