Traumatic Absolute discrace rooms certainly weren’t cleaned out on the top floor with two children in the middle of the summer with the heat rising to the top of the building has made it hard for us to breath there are ciggeretts wedged in the window , pubic hairs in the bathroom , mirrors not cleaned over all really dusty , bed sheets also have reddish and brown tingy stains , also smudged in fly fecies on the mirrors

Centre of Town We booked a room here for a Saturday night so we could have a few drinks in town after a meal without having to mess around with getting a taxi to/from.  There is limited onsite parking which is on a first come, first served basis and the spaces are on the tight side, even though there were a few available we decided to pack in the multi storey which was close by, this was then secured at 1900hrs until 1030hrs on Sunday.  The reception foyer was small, with limited room with just three couples stood waiting to check in.  It was a bit of a trek to our room, in to the first lift (where the door closed quickly, hitting my elbow quite hard), up to the second floor, a walk to the next left, up to the third floor and then a walk the entire length of the corridor to finally get there.  We were lucky that it faced one of the local pubs, so as it was warm we'd opened the window and were treated to karaoke from around 1630hrs until gone midnight when we returned.  It should be noted that the clock tower in the town centre is only a couple of hundred metres away and chimes every hour, which may disrupt light sleepers.  While the room was reasonably well equipped, kettle, wardrobe, coat hangers, desk, iron and ironing board, there were clear signs of wear and tear with damage to the wardrobe, thread bare carpet and TV ariel connector missing (so unable to watch any terrestrial channels).  The wasn't many, if any places that we were able to pass each other as it was on snug side.  The bathroom was reasonably modern with a long, thin walk in shower and very little space around the sink to put our toiletries.  Breakfast was fair, yet the staff seemed somewhat disinterested and poorly trained, with one of them clearing the dishes from the table then wiping any food residue straight on to the floor? If we were to think of doing similar again at anytime during the future, we would consider what other options were available to us, yet would not rule it out entirely.

Avoid at all costs Terrible over heated and smoky swamp room offered I asked for a collet location. Considered the underground car park as marginally better but then offered and room which was slightly less hot and less smoky. Don’t go. Save yourselves. It’s too late for me but I can help you do better. Avoid at all costs.
