5-Stars & Smiles The rooms are cozy, gym is sweat-worthy, but Packy’s is by far the best part of my stay each and every time! Van, you make me smile after a long day! Less than average accomodations. The Hope Hotel is an older facility with some differed maintenance. The elevators are clunky and have issues that should be repairable with ease. The employees at the desk were ok but not very welcoming. I was there with a group and the group meals were so so. The maintenance person who replaced a bulb in our room was very friendly and understanding of the problems with the hotel. The door to the bathroom would not close without force. Over all the hotel is not very appealing. I would not stay there again and only stayed because of the group that was there.

Comfortable Alternative to Busy and Overpriced UD Hotels The Hope Hotel is a comfortable alternative to the busy and expensive hotels near the University of Dayton. The staff is always helpful and responsive. On our last visit Ezgi was very helpful! I would recommend this to all UD families who want a comfortable and affordable alternative to hotels that surround The University of Dayton.

Change the name from hope to hopeless I stayed here 9/14/24 on the 4th floor. The parking lot is poorly lit and if you arrive after 8pm you’ll be parking pretty far from the main doors. I travel for work as a therapist. Sometimes working 14 hour days and look forward to a hot shower when I get there. This shower’s water did not drain from the tub so you’re standing in a tub filled with your own dirt while trying to get clean. I then go to get in bed and the mattress and boxspring are one! My back hurt for 2 days after sleeping in that bed 1 night!! Needless to say I will not be back. $107 for 1 night with a 2 day lasting backache. Thanks for the memories Hope Hotel!

Best bar Van and Cayla are the best bartenders you will meet. Food is good. Location for a TDY can’t be beat. I spent almost two months in the hotel and I looked forward to my experiences at the bar. Always welcoming. Breakfasts are good the amount of bar games are as expected.
