Great value, convenient location Reasonably priced, especially for CO, clean rooms, decent continental breakfast, friendly owner family. Less than half a mile from City Market and REI (which are right next to each other), across the street from a laundrymart and some restaurants. The area around the hotel is a road insanity and becomes a car insanity in the evening. It is big on shopping and restaurants. No noise problems at night though.

Bummer This has to be the worst experience if had within the Choice Hotel chains. First, I worked in the E-commerce department to help with web development and integration. A reasonable, cheap alternative in an expensive vacation destination. I was on the fence between rating this a 3 and a 4. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. Pros: (Relatively) reasonable price in an expensive destination. Furniture was in decent condition, including an upholstered chair and a nice bench for putting on shoes or unpacking luggage. Microfridge present. AC worked well (I was there in June). Double beds were actually full XL mattresses, making it so that my 5' 11" frame didn't hang off the bed (I usually do on typical double beds). Hotel was clean and centrally located. Cons: Bathroom needs serious upgrades. Toilet did not flush properly and refilled every 5-10 minutes. Sink faucet had to be positioned at one awkward angle to stop water flow. Shower and door seemed old and had poorly patched holes. Shower temperature would shift drastically mid-shower, especially when the toilet did its regular refilling. In addition, WiFi was okay, but not great for streaming (around 5 Mbps). Breakfast was also mediocre - they had waffles but not much else. And the waffle batter ran out toward the end of breakfast on my second day. They were trying to refill it, but the wait would have been too long for me to deal with on the morning of my departure. Overall, this is a decent motel if you want to enjoy an expensive destination at a budget rate. But expect lower quality amenities and maintenance concerns in exchange for the price.

Quite and clean, I didn't receive much assistance checking in. I Was driving for 10 hours and was looking for a little assistance with checking in _ Breakfast was definitely a plus! No elevator w/ 3 floors was difficult with luggage.

Bad Experience The hotel is situated on a tiny lot and there is a 3 plus story concrete retaining wall about 30 feet behind it. The air conditioning in the room did not work, and opening the window would have allowed someone standing on the property behind it to see into the room from the retaining wall. The floor in the room had some type of crumbs or dirt on it. The water pressure and temperature fluctuated while showering, and the towel was torn.
