Covid provides extra profit to the hotel at the expense of its guests I made a long comment to the hotel about our disappointment this time. It is generally a beautiful hotel with lots of history. It’s rooms (at least ours) was small, the closet unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber, the bathroom extremely small with the door being in the way most of the time. Our stay this time was disappointing in various aspects.

Disappointing Changes Many changes, not necessarily for the better. Major price increases, and less services. Pool bar area renovations were strange. Loud club music while your trying to relax by the pool. Lobby area had the most uncomfortable furniture- it used to be cozy and inviting.

Ok Moldy smell. Good location. Not sure if I would stay here again. The town of Edgartown is very nice. The smell though was profound and did put a damper on the experience. Noise between rooms was noticeable but it is an older property so I imagine little can be done about that.

Nice location. Room ok. Hotel was in a great location. Walkable to restaurants and shops. We stayed in a suite but oddly the room had no table and chairs but had plenty of room for it. Also a deck with no furniture as well. It was annoying. We also had to ask for drinking glasses as they provided none. Bed was comfortable.

The Best They truly are so accommodating! The hotel itself is clean (smells like Le Labo throughout the hotel), modern, and chic but welcoming. Love staying here every summer! Highly recommend for both family trips and friend get togethers.
