Everything was perfect We stayed their last weekend on our way to AC. Aretha was very friendly, professional and answered all my questions. The room was huge, very clean. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was above average. Good selection, food was warm.

Very basic CP, like a motel Located along a major road in Edison, this CP is charmless and offers little more than basic big rooms with basic bathrooms. The corridors are unpleasant and the room is worth spending the night inside, nothing more. The gym is tiny and offers little equipment. I cannot recommend this venue, service was sub par, I requested upon check in a room not facing the main road, the receptionist set me directly on the main road...

Stay at Crown Plaza I was in NJ for business and was staying at Crown Plaza, it was a decent stay. The GM of the hotel Mr Darshan Sharma is great guy, we were received with a personalised note from him. There is one restaurant, there is a basic Gym, tue breakfast is ok the menu is however the same. The rooms are pretty spacious , there is no laundry facility though.

Hotel cancelled reservation without notification--left stranded at hotel at 2 in the morning I don't typically write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so here, as I have never had such a poor experience at a hotel. I was attending a concert at MetLife Stadium on a Sunday night, and was looking for a hotel somewhere between the stadium and the Jersey Shore, and went with the Crowne Plaza Edison. On the day before the stay, I called to let the hotel that I'd be arriving very late, lately at 1 or 2 am, and they said that this was not a problem. After the concert, I arrived at 2 am, and was told that my reservation had been "cancelled." My wife and I argued with the clerk for 20 minutes or so to confirm that there were in fact no rooms available, but he insisted that there were only a few unclean rooms available. While we were arguing, a couple arrived dressed in their wedding attire. They have made a reservation for their wedding night, and were also told that their reservation had been "cancelled." Notably, nobody reached out to me via phone or email (which they had) and let me know in advance that the hotel had been overbooked and that my reservation was being cancelled. This news was delivered to me at 2:00 in the morning, when I arrived exhausted. The clerk was willing to call the Crowne Plaza in Plainfield, NJ to see if we could be accommodated there, but we were not interested in traveling there at 2 am, and it was not near where we needed to be. The clerk noted that there were five uncleaned rooms, and he sent a security guard to check them out to see how dirty they were. We declined this offer of an unclean room. Ultimately, we were left stranded at 2:00 am to try to figure out what to do on our own. Many hotels in the area were booked, and we ultimately found a room at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick, ten minutes away. The next week, I called the hotel and asked to speak to the general manager. After a few attempts, I was patched through to Angelo. I explained entire situation to Angelo, and he took notes, said that he would investigate, and get back to me. He never did. I called several times and also sent an email to the hotel main account, and Angelo never responded. Not knowing what else to do, I called IHG corporate. I spoke with a representative who was very apologetic (and was disturbed that I was offered an unclean room) and said that he would investigate. I called corporate back and was told that they had reached out to the hotel and had gotten a response from Angelo asking why I had waited so long to reach out about this issue, since my stay was a month ago. I might have just let this pass and not write a review, but this blatant lie--I spoke with Angelo for ten minutes and called/emailed numerous times for follow-up--was too much for me. Ultimately, IHG corporate resolved this issue by offering me some IHG reward points as a gesture of good will, and I suppose this is an adequate response for my inconvenience. But I do feel compelled to pass this story on as a warning to anybody considering staying at this hotel, and certainly if you are arriving late, you should call while you on your way and make sure that they still have rooms.

Robbed in Hotel Parking Lot Beware of parking your car here. Was here for a Buisness trip. The parking lot was super dark. Someone stole the front grill off of my new car. When I told management they were like there’s nothing they could do. I asked to see a camera & apparently there’s no cameras in their dark parking lot. So this is costing me a lot of money. Rooms are just ok. So at what cost are you willing to stay here if you’re going to get robbed?
