Perfect stay. Really enjoy staying here at the Red Roof Plus East side location. Erica and Eric have always done a splendid job in making my stays comfortable and easy when it comes down to checking in. Would highly recommend this hotel for long and short stays. Location is right by the freeway and makes it a lot easier to get to where I’m going.

Not good at all When I first saw the outside of the motel I was pleased with how new it looked. It was clean, well-kept, and well-landscaped. Moving inside, that's when the problems started. Disliked · Checking in seemed take longer than usual. When I asked about a luggage cart the desk clerk said he didn't know where it was (there is one for the entire property). He asked me to wait 5 minutes for it to show up. 15 minutes later he had to go and look for it. After finally getting to the room things seemed OK. There was no tissues anywhere in the room. The tub/shower was extremely slick with no grab bar. I came close to falling more than one during a short shower. The following morning the luggage cart was nowhere to be found so I had to carry everything down three flights of stairs (the elevator was at the other end of the property. I carried two items downstairs to my car but when I tried to get back in the building to go back upstairs my room key would not unlock the door, requiring me to walk the length of the property to get back in the building. Even though there was a breakfast advertised the breakfast room was being used as storage for linens and towels. The final problem came when my wife tried to use the bathroom just off the lobby. She looked inside and immediately came back out. There was feces and urine spread all over room. When I told the desk clerk about it he didn't seem to be concerned which was the feeling I got from all of the motel staff. One more thing, I thought all motels did away with the charge for the in-room wall safe. Not at this motel. I had to tell them to remove the charge before totaling up the bill.

Awful smell My first time staying at a red roof. Never again! I went into the room, and there was a horrible extremely strong odor. no toilet paper. The non-skid strips in the tub were lifting and look dirty. Went downstairs asked for toilet paper and asked what the smell was in the room and Erica told me that was from cleaning and sanitizing. It did not smell anything near a cleaning product. The fan would not work so I could not circulate the air nor open any windows. Left the main door open to try to get some of that smell out. they never offered to move me to a different room. All the other hotels in the area were booked so we couldn't change hotels. The next day, my significant others asthma was horrifically acting up and it was due to whatever was in that room that they were trying to mask. when we were leaving, we passed one of the cleaning ladies cleaning a room and it smelled like Pine-Sol, which is a cleaning product. Our room smelled nothing like that. When I went to check out, I saw a case of what appeared to be sprays of air freshener. I called to complain regarding this, and Erica told me that they had to used a spray some chemical to cover up that someone previously smoked in that room. I got upset and she told me that David the general manager will call me back. I left a few messages and every time I called she said she would transfer to his line. She didn't know if he was there. there was no answer nor a call back. I called back the next day and I thought it was her again and this time she said her name is Sarah yet she sounded just like Erica. then I found out through the customer service line that Erica was the manager of the location as she was the only one at this location today. So Erica the manager right out lied to me! UNacceptable Definitely hate being lied to, and I don't recommend this place especially if you have breathing problems.

Shower Leaks behind Tub Enclosure Checked into a premier king room for a night's sleep. No rack for suitcase, heater displayed 'heat' and 'fan' plus 2 other mode lights that were missing labels. No other fans in room - not even in the bathroom. Coffee maker did not work, given new one on a box to unpack and setup. Nice lighting, comfortable bed. Bathtub had newer pre-fab type enclosure. Turned on shower, water ran out from behind the enclosure and under the tub. Looked like recurring problem that had previously been caulked over and painted. 'meh' response from front desk when we reported the issue. We will not return or try another of this brand's properties.

Rude front desk I have multiple employees staying at this hotel for business and the girl that works the desk in the morning has consistantly been rude over the phone everytime I need to have a room extended. They need to teach the desk not to bite the hand that feeds them.
