Friendly staff Place was alright fire the price. VERY friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Animals were welcomed. Pool was freezing though, but at least it was indoors. Restaurants were close and can walk to most of them.

Worst hotel experience ever Room not ready 1:45 after check-in. Short staffed and no sheets. Only 2 towels for the requested 4 people. Reserved 2 queens but were given 2 fulls. Card was only programmed for 1st day of my 2 day stay. Found a pet rooster on the office desk defecating. Room had no water 2nd night. Next morning still no water. Cockroaches.

Get back in your car OMG where do I start? We looked online and thought hey, nice pool, cheap, near everything in Eureka.we showed up, worst choice all trip. First, the pool is closed, permanently apparently, for an ‘undisclosed’ reason. Ok thought I, at least it’s a place we can sleep and move on. Not so. We went to our room, cable did not work, old bedspread that looked like some hooker had just finished business, and flies. When I went to ask about the tv, as I was gone, some guy and something I would very loosely call a woman were conducting negotiations on the balcony across from where my wife was waiting for me to return. We realized that just because there are no vehicles in the lot doesn’t mean it’s empty, just that the local clientele walk up for their ‘. Get in your car and drive 6 blocks further, the Executive Inn is the same price, and no hookers

Not the best night I ever had. I had to call the police because some guy decided to hang out in the stairwell outside my room and proceeded to yell and throw things around from about 1:00am until 3:30am when the police arrived. I tried to call the office many times but no one picked up, not that they would be any better equipped to deal with the situation. I did not feel especially safe staying here.

We thought Crescent City sucked balls. Eureka is a sh*thole man. Prostitutes and / or junkies on your door step, meth head residents...Where do we begin. Breakfast surrounded by said meth heads, accompanied by comments from the boss about people "having the balls" to leave bad reviews. In our view all negative reviews are accurate and warranted. Beyond Eureka being a pretty ordinary place, the neighborhood is littered with junkies and prostitutes. We witnessed people openly dealing drugs and one person even shooting smack in the street. The one saving grace was the great brewery - Lost Coast. Amazing place.
