Comfort Inn & Suites Farmington - Victor

Hate to say it but did not have a good stay here Arrived to our room, put our stuff in the fridge, unpacked a bit….realized we were in a dead spot for wifi….so we immediately had to repack and move rooms, and were disappointed we lost the King size bed. I was already having a rough day so I decided to go to bed early. I woke up to 2 confused ladies trying to enter my room and said that they were also assigned to my room. They went back to the front desk and 5 minutes later I was disrupted again with a phone call from front desk confirming if I was in that room. I wasn’t able to sleep again for a while after that as the insulation and walls here are terrible and you can hear and feel literally every single footstep and movement from the room above and other surrounding rooms. It was a very loud, obnoxious, startling, constant creaking noise and thudding. Sounded like a family of elephants. This went on til very late in the night, and we had an early morning for a long drive and a wedding…my fiancé and I were exhausted and did not feel safe driving the next day. Also, both rooms also had stained carpets and drapes. I hate to give this such a poor review because the lady running the place had her crying baby with her and she was trying her best to accommodate us and I always want the best for hard-working Mothers….but the truth is we just had an awful stay here, disgruntled and tired. Respectfully, all my best to that Mother who looked like she had her hands full.

Pleasant Stay Excellent customer service from Carlie at the front desk when we checked in! She was so helpful with helping us. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our visit so much we came back even though the hotel was out of our way! Highly recommend!

Surprised at the high cost of an ordinary hotel room in Farmington, NY. We had been on the road for a while and ready to call it a day and wanted to stay in a nice, clean hotel with a restaurant. Therefore, when we saw a sign for the Comfort Inn & Suites in Farmington, NY, we pulled in to see if we could get a room. The lady at the front desk was very courteous and friendly. I was shocked when she said the room for 2 Seniors for one night was $320.44. I was too stunned and said OKAY. Expecting to see a huge room with all the amenities. Was surprised that there was nothing special for $320.44. I don't know why this hotel was so expensive. Probably would not stay there again if we are ever in that area again.

Don’t offer facilities you cannot maintain. The rooms were clean and comfortable but that’s where the positive ends. We went to use the pool and hot tub after a long day on the road and were shocked at how disgusting it was. You couldn’t see past the first step in the pool as the water was so murky and dirty, so we did not get in. We then went to use the hot tub which seemed clearer until we turned on the jets and the gray scum took over the bubbles. We promptly left and went back to our room very disappointed as we had booked this particular hotel based on the facilities offered. There is absolutely no excuse for such unsanitary facilities. The complimentary breakfast was ho hum and the staff were also. Very disappointing all round.

Amazing Experience during a snow squall We got caught in a snowstorm and picked this hotel because it was close to the highway. We normally wouldn’t pick a Comfort Inn but it was amazing! Friendly, warm, clean, and just wonderful. We were able to get refreshed and get out early to resume our trip. The woman at the desk even offered up whatever fruit and pastry they had because we left before the breakfast was out. I’d recommend this location for any occasion!
