Convenient and comfortable We stayed here to break up a long drive up the coast and it exceeded our expectations. It’s affordable and conveniently located just off I-95. The staff was super friendly and gave us all the diamond perks, including an upgrade to a spacious room, waters, and the food and beverage credit at the bistro. The burger and chicken sandwich at the restaurant were also really good, so we didn’t need to venture out for dinner. Added a bottle of wine and the famous doubletree cookie for dessert. Perfect!

The 80s called and wants their room back Very very outdated. It must have been in its prime in the 1980s but hasn’t changed. The rooms are huge and clean but it really really needs a refresh! Breakfast was fine. Parking plentiful. Staff seemed friendly and I did receive a text after check in asking if we needed anything.

RI to FL Layover My family made our annual spring trip from RI to Florida in April. We usually stay in Lumberton at another Hilton hotel however, prices were so high this year that we found ourselves looking into Fayetteville. I was surprised at the affordability of the Double Tree and being a Hilton, we gave it a try. The whole experience was excellent, from the welcoming front desk staff, to the warm cookies and bottled water, to the oh so comfortable beds! My husband has very serious allergies and he continued to comment about the amazing air quality in the room, that doesn’t happen often! We chose the continental breakfast, $6 and change, a steal! We had hearty bowls of oatmeal, fresh fruit, bagels, fresh coffee and juices… plenty to fill us for our early morning trip. Choose the Double Tree on your next trip down I-95, you won’t be disappointed!

A hotel to avoid We stayed at this hotel overnight with friends. After arriving at 10pm on an 18 degree night, the room was 57 degrees when they walked in! They called the front desk who didn’t seem to care and told them Housekeeping leaves it that way and they will just have to wait, it will warm up soon. They called back after 20 minutes after the temperature wasn’t budging much and got a similar uncaring response. They pushed to change rooms and found the same thing in the new room. They waited for over 90 minutes for the room to warm up enough to shower. So much for arriving, relaxing and going to sleep! Had 1 of the 3 front desk people on duty shown even the slightest empathy with the situation, it might have made a difference, but they said it was hotel policy to keep the rooms that cold and there was nothing they can do. I get trying to save energy, but if you check in with your arrival time on the Hilton app hours in advance, can’t 1 of the 3 people at the desk do the right thing and turn the heat on? Clearly, a hotel to avoid!

Poor customer service - worst stay Stay far away. I was double billed for the food. The buffet was so sparse it was sad it was called a buffet. I called to ask they applied the room credit and Brittany at front desk told me I was lying about the food credit and that there had been no buffet. You should stay anywhere else. Frustrating. Poor customer service.
