Clean rooms and friendly staff We stayed here for 2 nights when using Flagstaff as our base to explore the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. The room was clean and comfy, with plenty of space. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, there was not any sound proofing between rooms, so if you are a light sleeper, bring headphones. Our second night, our neighbors had their tv on all night, and we could hear it through the walls. We could also hear the train running right outside our room, as well as the traffic on Rt 66. But aside from the noise, it was a good stay, and I'd return (but with some ear plugs this time).

A rundown $40/night 1- or 2-star hotel trying to pass as a 3- or 4-star. At a nightly rate of ~$100 this place is a ripoff. Floors dirty, A/C noisy and right next to the bed, only one coffee packet provided, bed so soft I woke up with a backache, parking lot filthy, located next to what appears to be a junk car lot. Overall, the place is run down and very unattractive. This is a $40/night 1- or 2-star hotel trying to pass as a 3- or 4-star.

basic, but NOT clean or hygienic. And attitude. Since this is trip advisor I am going to give some practical advising to any fellow travelers … Think twice about staying here. Mistakes happen, but coming into a room with sheets with pieces of hair and stains and hearing that these were the “new sheets,” and that it wasn’t their fault and receiving no apologies from management…that’s reason enough to not recommend it

Rude nasty manager tried to over charge We (myself and my three kids) for a quick rest overnight on our way back from the Grand Canyon. I made reservations on a third party site and indicated that we were 2 adults and 2 kids as one of my kids is over 18. When we stated to check in the manager/owner informed me that the price I paid on the third party site did not include a charge for my children, so therefore it was going to be and additional 10$ for the kids plus tax plus a “service charge”. Of course I had already paid for the room and the tax and the service charge…luckily the third party site refunded my money I understand that it wasn’t a lot of money but she can rip off someone else. And while I was in the lobby at first another traveler came in and asked for an extra towel to which the manager replied”you only get two towels for two people)….wow. Worst customer service EVER!

Seriously Avoid Staying Here! My son and I stayed overnight 1 night and brought back BEDBUGS! It has been very costly to eraticate them, THANK GOD I noticed the problem very soon after. When called hotel to inform them, the female owner said "You got them somewhere else" I stated she needed to take responsibility for this because I hadn't stayed anywhere else!! The least she could've done was offer to refund my room stay. Absolutely rude to converse with!! Other lesser irritants were the LOUD AS HELL TRAIN that goes through every other hour and the door to adjoining room with huge gap under door and I had to put a towel to cover as they were smoking weed and stunk up my room. Floor and walls dirty and paint peeling in bathroom.
