Great hotel Exceeded expectations. Easy check in and room was big and clean. Beds were comfortable and all furnishings were modern. Towels on bathroom were decent quality and they had a soft and firm option for pillows. Breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs, premade omelets, bacon, biscuits and gravy and pancakes were the hot options. Happy with our stay.

Terrible customer service This hotel is undergoing a remodel. So I understand that there are challenges but the customer service on July 15-16, 2024 was terrible. I asked the front desk clerk if I could buy a soda here, because where their drinks and snacks had been, she said she sure at the market and pointed around the corner. There were no drinks or snacks. I came back to here and she said I meant at the store across the street. So they had no drinks, no snacks, no onsite Coke machines. This was at midnight. Then we asked for a late check-out. Mind you, we are Diamond Elite members, and the answer was no. The mattresses were worn and lumpy. However, the room was clean. The lighting in the room was glaringly bright. The pool was empty of water.

Parking issues Stayed here for a week. Was charged an $85 parking fee. Two tractor trailer trucks took up 6 spaces each as well as spaces being blocked off with cones for tour buses to arrive.. when I complained I was told I should be grateful that I only paid $85 because I booked with Priceline. They typical charge $150.. unbelievable. It appears there are more rooms than parking spaces, due to this I could understand a fee, but charging me a fee and then allowing all these spaces to be unavailable is unacceptable. Room was clean and breakfast was decent.. tour busses come in a couple times a week so if you don’t get breakfast by 8am many things are out..

Holiday Inn Canceled our room at 8PM and we are 1.5 hours away to the hotel leaving us with no place to stay. Holiday Inn called us at around 8:10 PM on the day of our arrival and we are 1.5hours away to cancel our room because their pipe burst or something. We asked for another room but they said no and they will cancel our room. We told them that it’s late and it’s hard to find another place to stay plus we have a small kid with us but they did not offer any assistance to us. They just said don’t continue to drive to the hotel.

Convenient, comfortable and clean A pleasant place to stay. This hotel is close to exit 198 of the I-40; it is accessible both from Lucky Ln and E Huntington Dr My room was clean and comfortable, helped by a sensibly large area to place my suitcase, microwave, fridge, a desk chair that was comfortable enough to use as a casual chair and the largest TV I have had in a hotel. The bathroom had a huge walk-in shower with two separate shower heads. Breakfast had the usual hot and cold choices that you see in the major chains. The front desk staff were efficient at check in and check out. Two small grumbles, small enough not to stop me from staying here again: Having to pay $5 a nght for parking despite hving a large car park, and there being no way to fill the basin as there was no plug - very strange and a good way to waste water.
