Great stay during my work trip This Quality Inn and Suites was spotless! I was impressed with the quick check-in and the rooms appeared to have been newly renovated. I was in for a 2 night stay for work and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I was able to get a quick work out in after a long day of meetings which was nice. The price and location was perfect for me. Advice: Request a ground floor room

Roaches beware! Just terrible beyond words There were cockroaches everywhere I had to go bring my luggage back out to the car. I was on my way to see my dying mother. Explain this to the lady the next morning that I didn’t get any sleep. She said she was the manager. She said she would take care of it. I was so upset. I thanked her and was pretty sure she Compensated the room due to the condition… it Was very dirty there was not even garbage bags in the garbage pails. The phone didn’t work. There was again roaches everywhere and I didn’t even get one wink of sleep. This was a terrible experience I spoke to corporate and I will be Getting my money back, no help from the manager who yelled at me and hung up after I realized that it was not refunded…… highly not recommend!

BED BUGS We were in SC for my aunts funeral. We reserved a non-smoking room and were placed in a smoking room with roaches and bed bugs. I have pictures, as well as, my doctor's report and receipt for treatment of bed bug bites at this establishment. I woke up the day of check out with bed bug bites all over my face, lips and neck. I spoke with Ms Harris who said she was the manager. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was very defensive and hung the phone up on me after refusing to give me the owners name, number and email address. She also refused to issue a refund for both nights. Please BEWARE!!

Pool, no elevator, motorcycle club I'm conflicted on 3 or 4 stars because my experience was only half-bad - the bad things left a bad impression, but they aren't major issues. Keep reading. I'll start with the pros: Room clean. Mini fridge very cold, a bonus! Good shower pressure. Outdoor pool open from 10a-10p. Decent breakfast consisted of OJ, yogurt, heat-n-eat croissant breakfast sandwiches, bottled water, bread, nutri grain bars, bananas. Big crock pot of oatmeal. Right off the highway, but a little nestled back so "mostly" quiet from "road noise", albeit a little hard to find without a GPS. I never once felt unsafe with my children. No strange visitors throughout the night like lots of other budget motels in some areas. AC worked very well, and it was 100 degrees outside! The main purpose of my visit was a place to sleep, swim, and shower, on the way home to GA from Pennsylvania with easy access to/from my car by way of exterior entry. I was looking for something under $100/night that was safe and clean with a pool, and that was hard to find for the night. The name is misleading. This is a motel. The so-called suites have a jetted tub in the room. I showed up a little after 3 to check-in. I asked for a 1st floor room and I was told "we are completely sold out for the night". But I could book another room on the app while I was waiting. I asked if there was an elevator, and I was told, "no, but there's stairs", as if he thought I expected to spiderman hoist myself to the room. Maybe the first floor rooms were sold old for the night, but both those comments rubbed me the wrong way after driving for 11 hours and just looking to back my car up to my room to grab my things. Our room was THE FURTHEST one from the stairs, of which there are only 2 sets of stairs on either side of the building. The setup is very odd. We had to go down 3 hallways and around 2 corners to get to our room from the stairs. We had come from HersheyPark, so I had to bring in the chocolate we brought with us so it wouldn't melt. Along with the meltable road snacks, my work laptop, and some other things. I could manage my small cooler, but I had to leave the big cooler in the car and hope everything stayed cold. One of the men from the motorcycle club saw me struggling and offered assistance. My children and I had to make 3 trips to the car to unload things for a one night stay, and 3 trips to load up in the morning. If I wanted to do all that, I would have stayed at a regular hotel, which would have at least had a cart (and an elevator) to get our things to our room quickly. There was also a puddle of slimy water right at the bottom of the stairs that is a serious safety hazard. I just kept picturing myself slipping and falling. We changed for the pool after we got settled. No towels (see attached pictures). I enquired at front desk, and I was told there should be towels there, but there were not. The man went to get me some, and I politely asked for 3 (there were 3 in my room). I was given 2 regular towels and he said that's all they had at the moment and he would let housekeeping know. Fast forward about 15 minutes and an employee comes out with pool towels for the bin. FIVE towels were put in the bin. There were 10 people at the pool at the time (and more showed up later). The pool was nice, however. Refreshing. Our room was directly above the lobby. Someone from the motorcycle club that had half the hotel blocked pulled around to the front at 5:30 the next morning blaring music! I heard a truck pull up, I looked outside but was so tired I could barely see what/where exactly the noise was coming from . But the music woke up my children. I heard other doors closing throughout the next 15 mins or so, so I know others were checking on the situation and not happy as well. The music stopped and the motorcycle engines revved for 10 minutes. I am just thankful that I was finally able to get back to sleep a little after 6am so I could be well rested for the rest of our journey. Probably not the hotel's fault, but something to consider that this is a thing and could impact your stay. Since backing up my car directly to my room (motel style) and a pool was a big purpose of my stay, I likely will not return. When I'm traveling through the area again and don't care about a pool, I will stay somewhere cheaper. I am not picky about hotels and often stay in budget motels, and I expect to get what I pay for. But I didn't pay Motel 6 prices, but got that type of stay. These little things were a big deal for me, and I'm sure I will get the typical staged "we are sorry we did not meet your expectations and hope you will reconsider us in the future" response from management.

Clean and dog friendly The room was very clean. It was basic and older. Staff was nice, and we felt safe. It was perfect for us because we had our two fairly large dogs and there was a grassy spot to walk them along with poop bags and a trash can. If you are traveling with pets for just a quick overnight, it works. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and some people were enjoying it.
