A OK Well maintained, upgraded rooms. Everything in the room worked perfectly. (Air Cond. electronics, lighting, etc). Room spotless upon entry. Enough soaps and shampoos and towels provided in bathroom. Extremely helpful, courteous, highly presentable and efficient front desk staff. Everything starts at the top, so obviously it has an excellent manager and owner to obtain such a well run hotel. As a recommendation, elevator security - none. Management needs to budget funds and install a keycard entry system within the floor selection panel. Same for stairwell. Other than that, hotel is super.

Good option This hotel is in a great location. I grew up in Flushing and lived there for 24 years. I have to visit every few months to visit family, and this location was perfect for quick Uber rides and the subway is only a few blocks away. The hotel staff are kind and welcoming. The hotel is clean, and water and newspapers in the lobby are welcoming. However, my cons are that the website advertises onsite dining and there was none. 1/2 block away is the SkyViews Mall that has food options if you don't want to travel. They also have a SkyFoods supermarket where you can get things and there is a small refrigerator in the room. Just be careful of putting anything on the top back shelf as that's actually a freezer. Check out New World Mall's downstairs eateries on Roosevelt Ave that's minutes away walking...authentic asian cuisine. If you want a quick NY pizza, check out Lucia Pizza which is also on Roosevelt right across the street. The safe in my room did not work. They advertised a microwave, but there wasn't one. Skip the breakfast buffet. It honestly was a terrible offering, and I didn't partake. They do have a decent rooftop bar, but it's not very clean, and it's pricey for the neighborhood. The staff are nice, but know that the bar is not part of the hotel. They will not let you take drinks to your room unless it's bottled beer. Also, anyone can enter the bar. Overall, I would stay again at least knowing what I do now. Price is affordable and location is ideal.

I don’t recommend We ended up stuck in New York City because our flight was canceled due to the weather. Finding an available hotel near JFK Airport was impossible, so we settled for one about 35 minutes away with traffic. I was concerned since the reviews were not great. The hotel was located in Chinatown—not the best views or location unless you’re fond of the area. Our room on the 8th floor was very basic; the bathroom shower was run-down, and the bed was just okay. Breakfast was included the next morning, but we skipped it as it was very ordinary. When we asked for a taxi at the front desk, they called a limo taxi, which ended up costing us $20 more than usual. The driver was terrible, hitting the median wall on the highway, and when we arrived at the airport, he wanted to charge extra for using a credit card. Despite our arguments, he was rude and uncooperative. Beware when the hotel calls a taxi! I do not recommend this hotel.

Extremely not clean I had to stay there for one night because of the event I'm attending is nearby. There are many concerns I have about this hotel and normally i don't write bad reviews even if I had bad experiences previously. First of all, when we got to the floor of our friend's room, we noticed there were 2 huge piles of dirty towel and bed sheets were thrown on the ground of the hallway in couple of different spots. Many look like they've been there for some times. When we went inside the room, the washroom ground is heavily stained with rust and outside garbage can has one candy package from mostly the previous person. Our room is on the 2nd floor where the gym and breakfast area is, we can hear very clearly loud music playing in the gym and starting 6am, kitchen table and chair moving and squeaking, people walking and talking. In addition, there was no hot water, was barely even luke warm even after 5 min running. Our group had a total of 5 rooms in this hotel, and overall everyone had a very terrible experience. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. If you are looking to stay here because of the location, there are many decent chain hotels nearby. I would stay away.
