Cleanest Motel in America This THE CLEANEST motel (or hotel for that matter) I have ever stayed at. I was even in a pet-friendly room since I brought my dog. There were no hairs anywhere...even baseboards were clean. The bathroom was spotless! The bed was so comfortable and the clean, dark, cozy atmosphere was very conducive to a great night's sleep.

not like the pictures - daily parking charge Booked this hotel based on the location, pictures, pool, and price. Ended up only meeting the location expectation and everything else fell short. Rooms are exterior entry, where external hall to enter room was sticky with spilled beer (based on cans strewn about), pool was shut down due to other guests letting their dogs in the pool at night (what?), room was hot and smelled like cigarette smoke, bathroom tiny, beds different sizes. To top it all off they charge daily for parking. Based on all this we chose to check out early and instead went to the Hampton Inn, which best decision we made on our trip.

Good breakfast, great location, dirty floors Stayed 5 nights with our young children. Thrilled they offered almond milk at breakfast. Our room was spacious and housekeeping did well keeping up with our trash and towel use. Did not like having a rip in the couch but it wasn’t a big deal. Happy to have separate building for those with pets as we have pet allergies. Very Very unhappy with the dirty carpet in our room. After being there a few days I noticed our feet and socks were turning black from walking around in our room. May not return if this doesn’t get addressed.

An old hotel with old hotel noises For a hotel that underwent renovations a few years ago, it's still old, dark and a bit of a dive. I chose this hotel because of the location across College Avenue from Colorado State University. But the road noise from College, a.k.a. US Highway 287, could be heard throughout the night. The room was small and dark. There was no luggage rack, so I ended up trying to find a corner where I could open my suitcase on the floor. Every time someone turned on the water in a nearby room, you could hear a clunk. And this included at 1 a.m., 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Let's just say it's an old building with old building noises. To top it off, I got hit with a $7 per night parking fee. I had checked before and didn't find any reference to a fee. When I mentioned this to the clerk who checked me in, she said she didn't know anything about it - she just worked there. I went back and finally found it after a lot of digging. You have to visit seven different pages within the bestwestern.com website to find a reference to a parking fee. It should be up front, NOT BURIED under SEVEN web page. I will not be staying here again.

Friendly Staff Front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and bed + pillows were very comfortable. Hotel is a bit tired but location and easy of finding campus + restaurants made it wanting to go back.
