Not a bad place to stay Checking in was no problem. I did ask about the pool hours and was told until 10pm. Of course we were not told that the "heated outdoor pool.", as mentioned on their web site was actually not heated, but very cold. This was a reason we chose this hotel.. Upon checkout, I noticed that I was charged more for the first night than what was listed in the confirmation email I had received a couple of days earlier. I tried to explain to her this. She kept saying it was the "incidental charges deposit" of $50. Well the higher first night room rate was less than that, but no matter how I tried to explain this, she did not understand. I ended up having to call the manager the next day to get it straightened out.

DO NOT BOOK HERE The staff was pretty dismissive and borderline rude. My room was infested with ants. We told the staff and they did nothing about it. Also it To 5 attempts to get out key to work only to find out there was a MAN IN OUR ROOM!! Then when we changed rooms our keys didn’t work again. There were mounds of trash outside on the grounds and thus reduced parking.

If you are an Hilton Honors member, stay at the Marriott or Hyatt instead. This Hampton Inn is the one they write ALL the exceptions for. Don’t expect any of the Honors treatment here. If there is an out, they use it. I have no idea why they would want to be part of Hilton if they don’t want to participate in the program. Initially, it appeared like a typical Hampton. Upon checkin, I was surprised to be asked to present an additional card (beyond the prepaid virtual corporate card, and the Hilton card on my Hilton honors account) ”just in case” usually, having one on my honors account is enough but fine, I’m tired and thirsty, I go through the process. Get my keys and ask for my usual bottles of water so I can head up to my room. “Sorry sir, we only provide a single bottle and only if you are gold or above, unfortunately it looks like you haven’t reached gold yet this year” (last year was slow so I lost my 5th year diamond and this 4 night stay will put me at gold but not until I check out, also this was the only mention of my status, no greeting or thanks or any other acknowledgement of my membership in the program). I’m surprised, but said Ok so can I buy water from your snacks shop? No they only have vending machines, which only take cards and of course there is a card processing fee as well, so I needed to go back out and find some other place to buy water at a reasonable price. It looked like they had the minimum 3 diamond parking spots. I didn’t test the diamond internet, but the free internet was reasonable but with occasional buffering just watching YouTube on an iPad, which probably should have been better. There were some other renovations happening on the ground floor, meaning the hotel couldn’t have been more than 2/3 capacity. Better than motel 6 I guess, but I won’t be back.

Not this Hampton Inn Check in were fast but didn’t feel very welcome being a Diamond member and they’re so cheap over 2 bottle water. Guess Hyatt Place next door for me from now on in Fremont area, maybe Globalist get a better treatment.

Terrible Did not feel appreciated as a diamond member. Was not informed of internet code, breakfast or bottled water at check in. Housekeeping pretty much rushed me out 2 hours before scheduled check out at 11am by knocking every 20mins.
