Really Good Stay! We chose this hotel as we were taking our grandson on the Potomac Eagle scenic train in Romney, W Va - about 40 minutes away. This hotel is lovely, as is the staff. Upon check-in we were given the option of floor we wanted - probably because it was a Thursday. The room (king and sofa bed) was arranged well and was a nice size. It was clean and beds were properly and neatly made up. The bathroom was also a good size with great shower. We especially appreciated (and thought it clever) that storage was available right beside the window, covered by a curtain. Smart! The barn door for the BR was also smart - no knocking doors. Breakfast was fine - hot with variety. Coffee offered 24 hours - and because it seems to be always hot and freshly made, this is an offer that one can take for real at this hotel. (Too many hotels offer this, but coffee/hot water is often tepid and it becomes obvious that no one really pays attention to keeping it up.) The pool was perfect - nice size - clean and well kept up. Our grandson and I loved it! We would gladly stay here again!

Pleasant stay, Very Pleasant Staff The hotel was very clean and in good repair. The staff were pleasant, courteous, and accommodating. They allowed us to check in several hours early which enabled our daughter to freshen up and dress for onboarding at her new job following a 4 hour car ride. Beautiful views of the mountains at sunset.

Outstanding front desk help My husband and I took our son on a college visit to Frostburg State University. Teasa at the Hampton Inn Frostburg front desk handled a sticky situation with extreme understanding. She is one of the most professional and caring hotel employees we have ever encountered. Thank you Teasa!

Ok stay Nice hotel but needs improvement. Beds are hard & need replacing, food could be hotter for breakfast. Ok selection but waffle maker takes too long. Flow of continental breakfast needs to be more optimal for guests. Shower pressure amazing but tub narrow & filled w/water during shower. Not much near hotel, but everything is a short drive. Clean hotel, courteous staff, but will most likely stay in hotel in Lavale or Cumberland where things are closer.

Jimmy C We arrived and shortly after did have a problem with a leak from room above and water leaked through our ceiling. No fault of hotel and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. I would stay again.
