SSHCO's appreciation for your service The Southern Sudan Healthcare Organization held its annual fundraising event on August 3, 2024, at the Best Western. This was the second year using the Best Westen. I worked with Liz Ward and Tisha Maraj is making all the arrangements. I give them the highest marks for providing excellent service. I was so impressed that they always returned my calls quickly and usually the same day. They were attentive to our special requests and offered helpful suggestions that made our event even better. Tisha went beyond in providing special care in offering suggestions and helping us solve concerns. It was a nice personal touch to our service. She remembered to provide us with dates to book our event next year since we wanted a later date for next year. We had many nice compliments from guests about the arrangements and the food. You are fortunate to have such wonderful staff who provide such quality service. They are your best promoters for Best Western Gateway Grand! We will certainly recommend their services to others! Host for large group Hotel was a great space for an event. The large areas to gather (breakfast area, conference rooms and pool) were great holding a large group. The staff was so friendly and attentive. A restaurant onsite was an unexpected gem!! A few more chairs and sunshades by the pool could be added. But all in all, 5⭐️

What a great experience! Just spent 4 days at this hotel for a social event which happens annually. This is the first time using this hotel and I'm very happy with the change. The front desk staff was amazing each time I dealt with them. The breakfast staff was also helpful and pleasant and was able to feed this rather large group of ours. Rebecca especially was exceptional - she gave 100+% to our group and she seemed like she really enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed having her as a representative. I'm definitely looking forward to staying again in the future.

Bears on the River Stay! We were at the hotel for an onsite event taking place over 4 days. From the moment we checked in, the staff was amazing. They made sure we had everything we needed and addressed the minor lighting issue immediately. Toccara made sure our room was clean and stocked with all the towels we could possible need. The onsite restaurant and included breakfast was great! This is an annual event and I hope it's hosted at this location again next year!!

BOTR 2024 The Good: BOTR event was great. The hotel was a great size for the group, the staff were attentive and friendly. Looking forward to the next event. Rebecca the group sales manager was AMAZING. The Bad: there was no housekeeping service the entire weekend so towels and trash piled up. When asked for towel service we’re told we could get at front desk. The room was not the cleanest and had a funny musty odor, many areas were caked with dust and the thermostat was barely secured to the wall. Called the front desk 4 times on Saturday morning from 8am-9:30 and the phone just rang and rang and no one ever answered. All in all it was a great weekend and will come again but despite being an older hotel they need to step up their room appearance and cleaning regime.
