Nice, but no breakfast at this time; don’t rely on the booking site This is a good basic hotel with comfortable beds, clean rooms and clean towels. Water ran nice and hot. Good WiFi. Upon arrival we were informed that there is no breakfast, even though the site I booked through clearly stated that breakfast was included. I strongly advise that during this time of COVID-19 you call ahead and ask whether there is breakfast or not, no matter what your booking site says,. When I was informed there is no breakfast I told her that was not OK, because hotels.com said there is and we were charged the price of breakfast included. I was offered in a very kind manner the choice to change my mind and go elsewhere without being charged a fee even though it was past the 3 o’clock check in. We decided to stay but asked for a discount, and were kindly given it. All in all fair business. The only negatives I have is that the carpet would need to be shampooed. I would not recommend walking barefoot on it as your feet will be black on the bottom Also the lighting is very poor in the rooms. During the day you can leave the curtains open, but in the evening when you want privacy, the two lamps in the room do not provide adequate lighting. One has to leave the bathroom light on and the TV to have a little bit more light. Stronger bulbs or an extra lamp would be a real plus. Would stay again.

Embarrassed to say I stayed here Nicest part was the owners went out of their way to help my husband and me. Entire motel is being renovated, so limited parking. Immediately installed a shower grab bar when I complained. Brought me a computer chair and moved the other one so my husband had a place to sit. BUT ...$139 was way too much to pay for one night.

Dirty, unwelcoming stay I am not that fussy about my motel rooms, but this was NOT a good stay. The supposed non-smoking room smelled musty and bad when we entered. The carpet was filthy. The room had spider webs hanging from the ceiling, and there was a thick layer of dust on the top of the drapes. When I turned on the heater, huge dust bunnies flew out. We had to run the heater and leave the door open to try to air the place out. I never did see what the office staff looked like. The office was locked at check in, and even though I asked to come in from the cold, I was told no. All business was conducted through a small slot in the window at the side of the office, while the windows were covered with posters and signs. There was a coffee can on the ground outside the office to leave the room cards in. All in all, a creepy, unfriendly experience.

Roaches roaches roaches You know I know for the price and the name Rodeway Inn I get what I pay for, but at the end of the day I expect them to at least have some dignity to clean their rooms, the towels look like they had been washed 1 million times we’re literally falling apart, the television looks like a 1980s television with the lines going through it couldn’t even make out the show, but the kicker was roaches, not just on one occasion but on several occasions I brought it to the front desk attention and they assured me they would get it sprayed and take care of it but they did not Needless to say I did check out, and I will never stay at another roadway again this is by far the worst choice hotel I have ever stayed in, To make matters worse they must have gotten into my luggage and I took them home, fortunately I was smart enough to leave my clothing outside, but the fact that they were in my truck and I took them home it’s just disgusting

Good downtown location The location of this hotel is really good. However, it is really old and dated, but they also don't charge you an arm and a leg either. I just stayed on a Saturday night for $50 bucks. Easy to walk a couple of blocks to restaurants and shops. Hard to beat for that price. But, the place has no frills, is old and isn't shiny, so if you need or want that, go elsewhere. But for a great price and easy access to downtown it is really good. No breakfast either and no coffee in room. Again no big deal to me, I preferred the $50 price tag.
