Recommend to stay here What a lovely room. Very spacious and comfortable and a great bathroom. Very well located within a short walk of Kardinia Park. Great sleep and enjoyed the hotel restaurant too. The reception is interesting being like a self-contained box in the middle of the ground floor.

dated this place is clearly old fashioned, very dated from the room to the food, especially the breakfast. Baked beans and frozen hash browns. The dinner menu was also super basic, It's got old people energy.

Disappointing Stay , Rude staff, Breakfast buffet very very limited selection Stayed here for two nights in August this is my honest feedback 1- bathrooms nice spacious showers ars good 2- room service is hopeless the phone they have in the room does not connect to housekeeping or to reception I tried few times different times of the day and night could not connect and then had to use my mobile ring up the hotel number to speak to reception which is very bad service then got told first time that reception was busy so they diverted all calls 3- then tried again at 1030-11 pm still could Not get through so that’s service for you. 4- the rooms are basic basic like would be good to have a update as it’s old and basic 5- breakfast buffet if you are used to having a good spread forget it they have nothing to offer you much Funny part is that you can order fried eggs made by the chef , but if you order a omelette you have to pay 6$ on top , does not make sense have not come across this before you are paying for buffet breakfast you can get eggs made fried but onlettee you have to pay extra 6– checked in got offered paid parking daily rate ( it’s a rip every street around the hotel is like very quiet you will get plenty of street parking all times of the day and night so if you are staying refuse the paid parking option. 7—overall I would say it’s a old outdated hotel definitely can have better breakfast definitely can have better trained staff who are more polite and helpful . 8—I would say after my stay go live somewhere else don’t go through ugly experience we went through 9- was checking out today went to the reception today and explaining I had a medical issue and can I pls have 30 min late check out pls a very honest and legitimate reason to ask for 30 min extra and I get told by a indian person at reception no they can’t better VERY EXTREMELY RUDE AND VERY DISGUSTING ATTITUDE FOR HELPING A CUSTOMER NEEDS SERIOUSLY LAST TIME YOU GET MY BUSINESS EVER .IS THAT HOW YOU ARE TAUGHT TO DEAL WITH. A CUSTOMER NEEDS IN AN EMERGENCY . 1o- you can see I am parked in disabled do we need to show you paperwork at reception to beg you sorry medical issue can I pls get thirty min extra NEVER AGAIN AM I COMING BACK HERE WHERE IS THE COMPASSION TOWARDS A CUSTOMER NEEDS I CHECKED OUT ON 24 AUGUST 2025 THE MANAGERS NAME WAS RAFI I asked his name and then he comes around and trying to say sorry bro when I am trying to get in the lift ( excuse me I am not your bro I am a paying customer you is that how you talk to your customers calling them bro ) because I asked your name and now you wanna try to say sorry While I am explaining to you it’s a medical Issue and I pls need 3o mins extra VERY VERY BAD ATTITUDE I AM SORRY CUSTOMER NEEDS SHOULD BE CARED FOR AT LEAST TRY TO ACCOMMODATE THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST YOUR CHECK out IS AT 2-3 pm and I am asking you 11 am -113o check out and instead of helping a medical issue you wanna stand there and be RUDE to a paying customer. I have travelled and lived in various chains of hotel never came across this kind of rude staff who are not compassionate about customer needs YOU LOST MY BUSINESS

Fine dining We had a magnificent dinner in the private dining room in the Nautica restaurant. The food was outstanding, great ambience and attentive service. There was no pressure to finish early (we were the last to leave!). A special touch was a visit from the chef to detail what we ate. Beverages were reasonably priced. My one small criticism was that the wine list was a little restricted. There was a good selection of local Geelong wines but a larger range of international and up market wines may enhance a special occasion dinner. Overall fantastic. We will be back!

Good value, great location & awesome staff:-) I stayed here while awaiting the birth of my grandson at St J of G next door. My son booked 4 nights but on arriving I found it didn’t have an accessible bathroom & this was quickly fixed for me, which was appreciated. I found everyone from the reception staff to the breakfast crew were exceptionally helpful & gracious. The decor in the room was a bit dated, but more importantly, it was clean , comfortable & spacious, so I was very happy. I highly recommend this hotel & would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks everyone!
