Ok then... I like Holiday Inn, this motel was pretty clean and close to the Adventure Park tram. The elevator broke the second day and after the first day our room the rest of the time felt very muggy, Room was ok, breakfast was offered every morning, didn't care for the egg omelet, cinnamon rolls were good, Pool was very very small , they also have a hot tub.

Quoted rate dispute - Run down rooms and unresponsive management We walked into this hotel for Thanksgiving break 2023 and were quoted a rate of $129.60 for two nights by front desk manager Alicia. After check in, we learned the pool was closed but we could go to an adjacent property to use theirs. That pool was full of green algae! That evening, we discovered several things wrong with the room including a stain on the bathroom wall (blood?), hair scrunchie wrapped around the smoke detector, and a general run down condition. That evening, someone decided to grill a thanksgiving meal on a charcoal grill right outside our room and the intake to the AC and heating unit. The room quickly became filled with charcoal lighter fumes. We requested another room but that room was also run down including a broken toilet paper holder (screw pulling out from wall), and a chipped toilet seat which someone had tried to cover in places with paint! Upon checkout, we were charged $129.60 for the first night but $165.60 for the second night! We complained about this as well asl the room conditions to Alicia who only gave us a $10 credit and said we would hear from management. Despite numerous calls and faxes, that response didn't come from months until around February when general manager Scott Bourne wrote. He allowed a $50 to compensate us for the rates which was no where near sufficient to compensate for the closed pool, inconvenience of having to switch rooms because of charcoal lighter fumes, dirty shower walls, unsafe smoke detector, and ripped toilet paper holder. This hotel has not delivered on promised and advertised services not adhered to high standards of Holiday Inn. Scott Bourne offered some rewards points towards future stays but we told him we don't travel much and will not stay, nor will we stay in a holiday inn express again, so those points are worthless to us. We are still requesting full refund for this stay and hope the management can provide for that so we can at least change our review to reflect they made this right.

Horrible hotel and horrible manager Terrible experience with he hotel and the manager, Derrick Mauro. We informed the staff we did not want to stay the second night we had booked due to the conditions of the hotel, we were told that would be fine. We later discovered Mr. Mauro refused to authorize credit for the night we didn't stay. He said his staff had "no authority" to break his policy. Therefore, because they had no authority he would not refund the cost. Horrible hotel and horrible management.

WORST Holiday Inn Express by far! Hotel is newer, but poorly maintained. USB outlets in room didn’t work, door did not latch properly, shower curtain in room too short to keep bathroom floor from flooding. Mirror light flickers. There is a nightlight in the room that cannot be turned off. BREAKFAST: Horrible. Terrible. The oatmeal was swimming in a bath of water. The instant pancakes were simply gross. The bowl of bananas contained only bananas that were both green and also rotting. We tried an orange, that was also rotting on the inside. Little egg omelettes are hard and gross. My bagel was as hard as if it had been in the sun for two weeks. The coffee was rather bitter. I could not get pepper to come out of a shaker so I tapped the bottom a bit and the shaker shattered, leaving a healthy dose of pepper all over the table. SERVICE: I reported maintenance items with the front desk and asked for them to be corrected while we were away from the hotel. Upon returning to the hotel, I noticed that not one thing had been done. Not surprising since the girl at the front desk spent all her time watching videos about how to apply make up, and I saw two of them in the back room, giving each other make up lessons. Not exactly what a person should be doing paid to be at the front desk of the hotel. We will be eating in town tomorrow for breakfast. I can’t believe how bad this is. This hotel should not carry the Holiday Inn name. It’s an embarrassment to the other good hotels in the chain. Anyone from IHG listening? My advice? Stay anywhere else, avoid this location.

Dark, Dingy and dirty hotel that charged me more than when I made the reservation. Dark, dingy, dirty hotel. I was there for business. There were people outside my room in the hall greeting each other very loudly and talking for about half an hour after 10 pm. I tried to ask the front desk if they could ask them to be quieter but it seems as if the hotel employees had friends staying there. Dogs were barking until about midnight too. Almost nothing available for breakfast. When I went to check out the next morning, I waited at the front desk for about 15 minutes to check out. Finally I peeked around the corner and could see an employee looking at her phone. I asked her for help which seemed to annoy her greatly. When I got to my car to submit the receipt, I realized the amount was higher than what it said on my IHG app. It took several long phone calls to rectify. Not an enjoyable place to stay!
