Great Bargain For The Price And The Location. This Hotel Has Everything You Need In Goldsboro. First of all, I am like most of you that come to Goldsboro, I am not going to Goldsboro for a tropical exotic vacation or honeymoon, I go to Goldsboro because of an obligation. Therefore, my criteria for a hotel in particular is value but not hotel services, amenities or the amount of stars this hotel has. None of the above is relevant to me. I have stayed in many different hotels in Goldsboro in the past ten years. Goldsboro Suites has the best value so far among all of them. Check out my other horrific hotel experiences in Goldsboro from my other review. This hotel has everything you need. The location is great. It’s close to everything such as Walmart and Logan Roadhouse are less than 5 minutes away and Ruby Tuesday is walking distance. The hotel is near the freeway so everything you need is within 5 to 10 minutes of driving. Apart from the great location, this hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The room is very decent in size. In fact, the room is huge. This room would be considered a suite in countries like Japan or France. The bathroom is also very decent in size as well. Everything works well in the room. The only drawbacks was the pressure of the shower was weak but other than that I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. After this stay, Goldsboro Suites will be my first choice of hotel from this point forward. You cannot beat this value of this hotel.

Nice Stay Great Value Very nice hotel located just off the freeway near everything and really inexpensive. The hotel is near a Ruby Tuesday, Walmart, Outback Steakhouse and Logan’s Roadhouse. The check-in process was seamless, the rooms are very large and clean. The continental breakfast was nice enough and featured bagels, juice, coffee, cereal and fruit. The hotel provides ample towels, minimal toiletries, a refrigerator, flat screen, microwave, desk, and the internet was above average. I thought the bed was too soft and the shower pressure a little low but you cannot beat this hotel for the internet price or advertised price out front of $60. This is a good buy for Goldsboro.

Clean and Comfortable Stayed here with my parents during a visit to family at SJAFB. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but both of the rooms we used (on different floors) had a musty smell to them. AC control wasn't quite on target, since the room was considerably warmer than the temperature indicated it should be. WiFi is very weak in some areas. I had to give up using the internet at all in our 3rd floor room. Very limited parking if you arrive back at the hotel after 9PM.

Outdated and Stinky We were in town for a family July 4th get together and this was the Hotel of Choice for the block of rooms at Group rate. At first glance at lobby you think "oh ok not bad" Check-in was a breeze the front desk rep Kaitlyn (I believe was her name) was so polite, and accommodating she gave us our room which was on the 3rd fl. either 328 or 319 can't remember, well as soon as soon as we open the door this immediate smell of must mixed with orange room spray hit us. So I thought well maybe its because of the AC or just being closed up. As my husband adjust the AC temperature I look around and can't help but to feel that this room resembles a cheap motel, We were supposed to have a king size bed with a pull out couch instead we were give two double beds with side by side old outdated reclining chairs. My son sits on the reclining chair and says "mommy this chair is wet" so I place my hand on the chair rubbed it around and sure enough the whole could was wet as if they had just shampooed it. Ugh! The smell I just couldn't take it. So I asked my husband if he could change our room. He we went downstairs and explained the situation and front desk rep was kind enough to change our room to the first floor rm. 119 now we are in a King size bed with pull out couch, still the same musty smell but not as intense..ahhh we dealt with it..throughout the course of our stay we noticed peeling wall paper, door to bathroom wouldn't close all the way we had to leave it ajar, the amenities were very outdated, the toilet had NO water pressure what so ever!! Free breakfast included hmm left much to be desire, waffles that you make yourself was Nasty like spongy, the chairs in the breakfast area were also wet again as if they recently shampooed them and not enough time to dry. Other guest complained as well we had 13-14 rooms booked and all guest said the same including some other random guest at breakfast were talking about how this hotel is old and wish they had never booked. I wish we had read reviews before hand I wish I would have know about the hotel next door The Marriott Residence so much more inviting and, modern and new. I give this hotel two thumbs down. I felt yucky and as soon as we were returned all of our belongings went into HOT WASH to prevent any unwanted visitors. Never again Sorry Goldsboro but you gotta do better than that. Didn't use the fitness center but it was tiny, The pool room was like HOT LAVA in that room.

Greatest deal in eastern North Carolina I get tired of non-visitors saying there is no pool at this location. It has the best indoor pool in all of eastern NC! Clean, well maintained and just part of the tremendous package one gets while staying in Goldsboro. Convenient to highway, food, shopping, hey it's even a great place to use as a home base for the NC State Fair or other events just down the road from Raleigh - but without the big city traffic or price tag. Yes, a loyal previous reviewer of this property but it has deserved my praise. Staff, rates, location, amenities - All there!
