Wow This has to be the best Holiday Inn Express I've stayed at. Easily compares to a 3 star hotel. I liked the fact that they had gone back to the pre-Covid breakfast and the eqgs weren't from powder. Room was great and well appointed. Tiled bathroom. Desmond did a great job checking me in.

great hotel Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. It was not crowded at all. Beds and pillows were great. Not exactly in Donaldsonville. Our GPS couldn't find it so we had to ask someone. Breakfast was the norm since COVID started but overall good.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE i am retired military traveling from Oklahoma to Gonzales to have our Christmas gathering early, so I made reservations two months ahead of time at the government rate. the website said, VALID MILITARY / GOVERNMENT ID....so i do have a valid ID. Upon arrival to check in, the desk clerks tell me " work orders required" i said NO, the website only said VALID MILITARY / GOVERNMENT ID" , they said no , they couldnt honor my reservation and no other hotels in town were available. i called customer service number and i could hardly understand the language and they couldnt help me either. the only good thing is that they allowed me to cancel without a fee. i ended up booking a beautiful hotel in baton rouge for cheaper than what that run down place wanted. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTENDANTS, HORRIBLE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

Very poor I have come to this hotel for about six years. Never have I seen it so bad. The carpets are never vacuumed , there is nothing at the breakfast nook 98% of the time. Chairs broken, garbage bins full, garbage on the floor, no hotel guest laundry, etc. Unless this hotel gets a new do over I strongly recommend another.

Poor reason for canceled reservations. We booked rooms a week in advance and they notified the us one day prior instead of the day of booking that the rooms was cancel. The location" where they live," of the people booking the rooms should not be the reason for canceling the reservation. This is unethical and unreasonable.
