Another Town, Another Hampton Built in 2006. Has 8’ ceilings. Normal wear and tear on the building; it was clean. Hard-working front desk employee. Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn fare. Stayed on 3rd floor. Was quiet. Traffic noise isn’t an issue. Didn’t check the pool.

Great staff. Desperately needs an update Very friendly staff and great breakfast ( usual Hampton Inn fare ) . However this property is overdue for a refresh. Rooms really showing wear and tear. Out of the last 14 stays at Hilton properties this month this is the only Hampton I’ve stayed at that has not been refreshed.

Ripped off Feeling totally ripped off. My fault to ask for room and not ask rate. Trip Advisor rate was $144.00. I asked for a room and accepted the room she offered and my fault did not ask rate and she did not quote a room rate. Hind sight it was a strange check in, she did not ask how many people staying in room, did not ask for ID she only stated she had two queen. When I saw my email I realized I was paying $361.26 USD (this is with my Hilton honors) I walked down to reception to inquire why price so much higher that Trip Advisor and she said because TA quotes lower price which does not included taxes. I did not even get a bottle of water. The worse is the hotel is a dump, room smells like wet dog and is extremely needy of remodel. Scary squeaky elevator.

Very poor stay AC temp is set for way too high. Room was very uncomfortable and wouldn’t get cooler than 72° (set at 65° but it that wasn’t right). Front desk woman tried to help (hence 2 stars) by giving me a bypass but it didn’t work. She got the maintenance guy but he was clueless. So she got me a fan, so I might get some sleep. Tried pool to cool down but that room was like a sauna, and water was very warm. So they do not use the AC there at all. For the price they charge for an old worn down Hampton Inn, they could at least spring for some AC. Terrible stay.

Motel 6 at Hilton Prices. Unfortunate experience of staying at a hotel that, despite its name, offered a far cry from the Hilton experience I was expecting. While the TripAdvisor reviews boasted a 4.5-star average, my stay fell significantly short of that mark, leaving me feeling disappointed and frustrated. The first red flag was the hefty price tag. At $180 a night plus tax, the cost was more in line with a luxurious Hilton stay than the budget-friendly Motel 6 experience I received. Upon arrival, the signs of wear and tear were evident. The escalator creaked ominously, and my room door wouldn't shut properly, raising concerns about security and privacy. To add insult to injury, the air conditioning in my initial room was malfunctioning, forcing me to request a room change. Even after the switch, the overall impression remained one of neglect and lack of upkeep. The stark contrast to the usual Hilton standard was undeniable. Adding to my disappointment was the lack of customary amenities. Unlike my previous Hilton stays, I was not offered the choice of water/snacks or bonus points, further emphasizing the discrepancy between the advertised experience and reality. There are better options in Grand Island.
