Clean room at a great price Based off of the price and star hotel this is I rate this a 5 out of 5. I have been traveling the country for 2 years now. Experienced many hotels good and bad. I was hesitant to book but so glad I did. It was a very clean room. Comfortable beds. Clean sheets and more importantly for me a clean toilet and bathroom. I definitely recommend this hotel. Do not let other reviews sway you for the price it’s a good selection. Good job to the housekeeping crew for keeping the rooms sparkly clean!

Horrible Experience My friend, who is a combat veteran and a gay man, and has a service dog for stability, and I were going from Wyoming to Missouri. We chose the Rodeway Inn in Grand Island, Nebraska because of the price and previous experiences elsewhere. If I could give this motel a zero star, I would. General Manager was rude, uncaring and not sensitive to the needs of my friend, or myself. We were supposed to get a newer room, according to the reservation details, and we most certainly got the room no one should be in. Upon declaring my friend's service dog, Luna, we were met with hostility and a terrible attitude by the GM. We were told, if the dog makes a mess they would fine us $150. Also, the GM demanded a number for the service dog and stated that the GM's service animal had one and must be seen to be proven. My friend explained that that was illegal and there is no number for the animal. The GM finally gave us a room and we went to settle in. Apparently, the GM gave us an older, filthy room. Upon entering, there was a strong smelling of body odor. Body fluids were smeared on the walls, holes were in the walls, the toilet seat was broken in two, bathroom was disgusting, comforter was ripped and crusty, the nightstand still had a "Goodwill" pricetag on it, and so on. I pulled a corner of the comforter back and the sheets were stained and stunk. This room was far from newer and clean. All I can think is this was possibly a passive aggressive move on the part of the GM. My friend left for the Mainstay Suites next door to see about a better room. I went to the front desk to get a refund. The GM excused himself and came back shortly. He stated that we had used the room and there would be no refund. I think it was because I pulled back the comforter to look at the sheets. I asked him if he knew he would be contacted by someone about this and he stated, "I don't care". My friend and I did take pics before we left. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Now, I'm out $136, because of this man's disrespect and poor attitude.

Not a good place to stay! RLS Worst motel on the planet! Upon entry, the hallways reeked of smoke in the north half of hallways. Fortunately we couldn’t smell it in our assigned room. After first entry of the room, the electronic key quit working. Manager created new keys that still did not work. As wife was still in the room, we were able to get in and move our belongings to another room. Room was just ok and needed a lot of help in maintenance. Commode showed signs of wanting to overflow when flushingbut still worded---to begin with.. However, the first morning, called for help from desk to flush toilet. They worked with it several minutes using a plunger and got it to work. That afternoon, same problem with toilet. Night manager worked with it for nearly 30 minutes and said it should work through the night but would move us the next day. Didn’t offer to move us to another room that evening. Next morning it wouldn't flush. I got the commode flushing after several minutes and decided to stay in the room because moving our medical equipment and the rest of our belongings to another room and setting it up again was more trouble than making the commode flush at that time.. That evening, the commode failed completely and the night manager refused to move us to another room because there was no maid service that evening and he said we had declined to move earlier. Not sure what maid service hd to do with it. There was also no offer or suggestion about the use of bathroom facilities. The next day, we checked out a day early because it was unbearable to stay in the pig sty. Also, the entry doors security system was broken and allowed anyone entry into the motel at anytime. Still waiting on a refund for the one night that we could not use the room because of having to check out one day early due to a commode that would not flush and a refusal from management to move us to another room. Will not stay again.

Not again unless only choice I would have been SORT OF ok with this property had it been half the price— it is old, needs repairs & general updating. With all the taxes it was nearly $150— with original base rate $128! I took it only because it was one of the only rooms left in town that I could find. We have had so much better places for a lot less $$$. They did give us a ground floor room as requested but it was a very difficult entrance with a wheelchair or the ancient luggage cart, as concrete uneven and door thresholds high & rough. Trash cans around property overflowing. Linens were clean but worn. No coffee maker & 1 plastic cup in room. Toilet low & “rocky” We did get breakfast: cold cereal, packaged muffins, yogurt with juice & coffee machines. All in all we were lucky to have a place to stay but won’t be back unless we have to.

Not a nice place The hallways smelled musty, the bathroom was not very clean, and the light in the ceiling had no cover you could look up towards the rafters, the bed sheet were so worn think in a couple of spots they had holes in them, the refrigerator had food left form the pervious guests, the breakfast was not good, The curtains were dirty a child must have been in there with dirty hands all over the windows and curtains.
