New Favorite I’ve visited Greenville 5 times in 12 months and have gone to other hotels. Found Candlewood (commons dr) and chose it for the price, ratings, and gym. It’s my new favorite hotel in Greenville NC. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, clean room,gym, and hotel. Free washer/dryer which came in handy this weekend. Comfortable room with kitchen, study table, and comfortable extra seating. I’ll be back!

Absolutely discriminatory! I was traveling home after visiting family in western NC. It was only 9:30 but I was exhausted. This place came up a couple minutes away. I called they had a room, ask if I wanted a single or double, then ask where I lived. I live in Belhaven, 1 hour and 10 minutes away. I was turned down for the room because I am a citizen of Belhaven, NC. They claim they don’t allow people that live within 50 miles to stay there. So if you live in Belhaven, Washington or Greenville this business, doing business in your cities, openly discriminates against you and you are banned from staying there. I am a grandmother traveling alone, that was exhausted and needed to stop for the night. This was the closest hotel. what exactly are you afraid I might do that I’m not worthy to stay at your hotel. Trey at the front desk said it’s been the policy since he’s worked there. I don’t usually write reviews but this is an absolutely ridiculous policy and discriminatory. Packages get stolen I understand that things happen. Corporates response was pretty much, "go kick rocks". I stayed 2 months, due to a job at the hospital. Several packages were "lost". My son had a birthday and my sister sent gifts. The first, Ashley was unable to find, until I insisted she turn the place upside-down. She eventually found it, when she now had a line of guests. The package was torn open, revealing a video game system. Another time my paycheck was delivered, via FedEx. No call to the room. That also had to be located. Don't they have an area or bin, for the guests deliveries? Walmart delivered a video game to the front desk. It never made it to us as did another package, that the USPS, had to open an investigation. Corporate said management would reach out to me, they never did. Not once. Room is very humid, at least the dehumidifier that I ordered, made it to me. Lots of other choices in the area. I'd avoid this one, as management and corporate are useless.

Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff This is the second time I’ve stayed here. It’s the perfect place to stay while visiting ECU with a prospective student. The suite with a bedroom and an extra room with a pullout couch is perfect for visiting the campus. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The people who staff the front desk are wonderful.

Comfortable Casual Lodging The staff went out of their way to accommodate us with our blind dog that was mentioned when making the reservation but the hotel was not informed. The room was clean and spacious. I would definitely go back.
