Don't let the price fool you on this one! Was discharged from hospital and had to spend the night until my ride could get here. I arrived, and was immediately and pleasantly greeted by Kimberly at the front desk. She was very kind. Room was what I considered to be ABOVE average, very clean, simple, and neat (thank you and great job, housekeeping!) During my stay, Scot at the front desk was also very kind and helpful. Slept great, all night was very quiet and comfortable. Checkout was very easy with Kimberly the next morning. And coffee was great! Employees like Kimberly and Scot really do make all the difference. I have stayed here before and will definately stay again. Please don't let the price fool you on this one!

Only if you have to stay here. This is a nasty place. The floors were sticky, so we never walked without shoes on. The walls are dirty. The hair dryer was dirty. The first day, our room smelled like bleach. The second day, it smelled like pot. They charge you a $50.00 deposit when you check-in. The AC worked well. The TV had a good reception.

Went for an overnight to visit my daughter, a Sophomore at ECU. Ground floor room w/ king size bed (no smoking). Clean with fresh linens. Good soundproofing for a corner unit. Extremely disappointing that it's lobby is closed due to excessive, irrational FEAR. No continental breakfast. Unsecured Wi-Fi ! Pleasant but unempathetic, overworked desk staff. Glad I did not spend more than one night at this marginal Choice Motels property. Unless it is restored to "normal" operations (a functional lobby), I do not intend to spend more money there or ANY OTHER LODGING that has crippled its own property making it resemble a rest stop, NOT a lodging house. STOP the madness and get back to being in the HOSPITALITY business!

Worst stay ever First off the room was humid no matter what we did the whole entire time we were there. and then when I trying to put our stuff away in the dresser I could only use the very bottom drawer because the first two drawers were falling apart. and then I noticed that there was a whole entire drawer missing from one of the nightstands. I go to put my few things that I needed to keep in the refrigerator in the refrigerator and I noticed that it doesn't seal all the way thankfully it still kept my things cold. and then you go into the bathroom and the toilet is so wobbly you feel like you're going to fall off the whole entire time unless you sit completely still and the toilet paper holder is physically falling out of the wall I almost pulled it out when trying to get toilet paper. If that wasn't enough the next morning I go to brush my teeth and low and behold there is a God damn ROACH on the freaking counter!!!!!!! Thankfully the manager was nice enough to give us a full refund when I showed him the picture of said bug but he had an attitude of "oh my gosh what now" when we walked in and said we needed to speak with him so apparently this goes on often here or they have a lot of problems here!? Never ever stay at this hotel not even if your life depends on it.

BLACK WIDOW SPIDERS IN ROOMS My wife and I were staying here. We saw a large black widow spider crawling up the wall. I killed it. We immediately packed our things because it would be unsafe to stay in a room with black widow spiders. We could not be confident that was the only one. We notified the night associate around 1:00am that we were checking out early. We told him why. We offered to show him the dead spider but he declined. We asked for the owner’s contact information. I texted him. His read receipts showed he read my text. But he did not respond. When Priceline contacted him her claimed there was no spider. Really? So we checked out of a paid for room at 1:00am for no reason? These rooms are unsafe to stay in and the owner is completely unethical. Below are pictures.
