Be particular about your room. I arrived much earlier than normal check in time however they were able to get me in super quick. The ladies at the desk were so so nice. They asked me if I had a room preference and I said no. I now know why they asked. I was in room 100. This room was at the end of the hallway right beside the stairwell door. It was constantly slamming open and closed all hours. My ac also wasn’t working right when I got there but maintenance fixed it with no issues. He was awesome great. However the proximity of the bed to the wall ac unit, the fridge and the overall noise from the hallway made for the absolute loudest hotel visit I’ve ever experienced. This is no one’s fault, it’s just due to the design of it all. So please be choosy about your room and even then, bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones if you’re even the slightest bit a light sleeper.

Good place, great staff! There was a National Conference in nearby Indianapolis sandwiched between two RACING weekends at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, nearby. That was a perfect opportunity for anything to go wrong. Not thus time, partly because the hotel's staff is GOOD. The place would have been rated higher, but the room Air Conditioning had a problem - it acted like the temperature sensor might be dirty. Meanwhile the entire staff was friendly and absolutely helpful. The suite was properly outfitted with the utensils we needed. and the bed was restful. Noise from the nearby highway was minimal. The suite was neatly ( yet very basic and pleaantly) decorated.

Clean and comfortable This hotel does not have high ratings and that's totally wrong. They are really on top of things. The hotel and site is extremely clean and well maintained. It has had some updates. Andrew and his staff takes great pride in the care of guest. The rooms are very clean and they will do everything possible to make your stay awesome. It's close to everything and really quite at night.

Clean and comfortable, air conditioning unit is a little loud We were originally supposed to stay at Holiday Inn Express, something got mixed up with our points and we ended up at the Candlewood Suites in Greenwood. It was nice enough Hotel, bed was comfortable room and bathroom were cleanan. A little debris in the hall but all in all a good hotel for a night or two stay. The reason I gave four stars is a couple things, first there is no breakfast included, that's always a nice bonus. And 2nd, the air conditioning unit is pretty loud. If you're watching TV and it kicks on you actually have to turn the volume up, LOL. Actually there is a third. When I went to my car around midnight there is no one at the front desk, it is closed up so feels a little unsafe for a Woman by herself. The Price is Right and I would still recommend this hotel.

Gencon Hotel DISASTER Booked six months in advance, got a confirmation two days prior to check in, and arrived to be told they cancelled one night of our two night stay. We received no advance notice about this. They sent us to a hotel a half hour away and ten minutes farther from the convention center. They paid for one night stay but refused to pay for a second night and wanted us to check out in the morning and commute a half hour back to the hotel in Greenwood to check in at 4 pm. We stayed at the hotel they sent us to for the second night at double the price of one night with my initial reservation with one less bed. They refused to honor my government discount and did not clean our room and no one told us they would not do this daily. Called customer support and they kept repeating that they didn't cancel my reservation or inconvenience me and they think what they expected of me was reasonable and fine. They kept reading a prompt and the calls were dropping and they really just don't care. They are rude, greedy, and have no respect for their guests. Don't stay here if you want your Gencon weekend to be smooth and simple.
