Just right! Excellent choice for a reasonably priced stay. Room is spacious and comfortable. Bed mattress is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Free breakfast available - varied but would gave preferred addition of eggs. Request a room facing away from Route 1 and first floor if stairs are a problem, as there is no elevator. Enjoyed our three night stay. Not fancy, yet just right. Would recommend and glad to return.

An adequate stay near San Francisco This property is beginning to show its age but still delivers a good stay. All room controls and equipment still worked ok, beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet at night in the back. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was modest and best described as "continental". WiFi was good. The hotel is not on the beach, nor did it appear to have beach access. It is located directly on the coast highway (Cabrillo Highway) and is challenging to get out of due to heavy traffic on that road (2 lane highway). Overall overpriced for what you get.

Beware of the noise and worse, the management We specifically requested a room days in advance, away from the noisy highway, since I had read about this in previous negative reviews. Our room was clean, but there was a very loud droaning compressor noise that any guest would not be able to tolerate! We had to contact the night auditor at about midnight and he said we would have to notify front desk in the morning. After no sleep all night, the front desk clerk, Lynette, told me she knew that a coke machine below our room has been a problem! So managment knew about this inherent noise issue and said nothing. To add insult to injury, Lynette smiled with a smirk and said, "have a nice day." Really? Is this how Quality Inn responds to a guest that spent alot of money to have their night completely ruining? Shame on Quality Inn.

Very poor breakfast options Hotel overall is decent. Good location. However if you are looking for convenience of have breakfast this is not the place to stay. They don't have even simple bread to toast. No proteins, sausages/eggs as other quality inns would provide. Waffle maker was there but no spray can so you have to burn your waffle. No person as breakfast attendant. Milk flask was empty, regular coffee flask was empty. such careless. The front desk agent was never to be seen in the breakfast hours. When you say hello he popped up from back office with iPods not happy to get interrupted. Overall poorly/cheaply managed. Hotel has lot of potential to be a great place to stay with some attention.

I’ll never return We stayed here one night on 7/3/23, and we will never return. This place does the bare minimum to keep itself running. 1) the TV volume doesn’t go up all the way and it was hard for us to hear. Also the TV guide worked only sometimes and the ‘guide’ button on the remote didn’t work. 2) the light above the bathroom sink worked when it wanted to. We had it on while we were getting ready and all of a sudden it turned off. Then, it came back on 20 minutes later. 3) the complimentary breakfast in the morning was skimpy. No bowls for cereal, no bagels left, and not enough syrup for the waffles. It was hard to find a staff member to ask for these things. All in all, we will not stay here again.
