Not a lot of options in town Paper-thin walls and ceilings. Don't get a ground floor room unless you want to hear conversations and bathroom visits from your upstairs neighbors. Travelers with accessibility issues may be out of luck, as there's no elevator. And the outside push button for the automatic door doesn't work. The free breakfast was good, though. And the staff was excellent. Beds are comfortable. Not enough plug-ins on the nightstands; typical of an older hotel.

NOT 4 stars, NO elevator I chose this hotel because of the 4 stars here and close proximity to my work. First, This is an OLD hotel. Nothing wrong with old, but it needs a serious re-do. Second, it has NO elevator so I had to drag my bags up and down stairs. Third, it was $209 for one night with two queen bed. Ridiculous! Fourth, busy street and area so noisy. Fifth, while breakfast was ok, there were only 3 tables available because a road working crew, of at least 20 guys, chose to use the breakfast area for their morning briefing, leaving no place for people to sit. The sweet lady running breakfast was beside herself and eventually asked the front desk if it was ok to ask them to leave, which she did. As they left, they were handing out egg McMuffins to everyone on the crew. Would I stay here again? No. This was a “Quality Inn” priced like a Hilton. I’ll add pictures if I can

Near Lee Metcalf NWR for good birding Exterior view is of a gas station, checked twice that we were at the correct address, rooms are behind and to the side of the gas station. Bathroom in room is small for tub and commode. Sink outside the bath so convenient for more than one person in a room. Lots of lamps for light, few outlets but multiplex adapters. Clean, courteous help, standard motel breakfast with hot entrees, good variety. Expensive for what it is, but standard for area.

Very Tired & Dated When I read the reviews, I guess I wasn't paying enough attention. The place smelled of stale cigarette smoke combined with trying NOT to smell like cigarette smoke. Everything is run down. I didn't feel comfortable about the surroundings and security nor being in the room. We travelled with our dog, and since this was a cross country move, we weren't set up to camp. I just wouldn't stay here again.
