Horrible is too nice a word The Assistant General Manager was beyond rude to us and was not helpful at all when we arrived- yet was smiling and greeting other families throughout our stay. Breakfast was an absolute atrocity that was FAR too expensive for what it was. The service was horrible- the gal went to every other table and took orders and brought drinks over- but completely ignored us and acted like it was in inconvenience went we asked for 2 high chairs for our small kids. The rooms are outdated and while generally seemed clean, didn’t seem that the cleaning staff actually cared all that much. We will absolutely never be staying here again. If I could give this place a 0 I would. So incredibly disappointed in this Hilton experience.

Terrible housekeeping I wish I could say my stay was good but it wasn’t. Your staff at the front desk is phenomenal. Your housekeeping needs work. My bed was dirty, hadn’t been changed by the looks of the spread. Not at all what I expect from a Hilton property. I’m also quite irritated that the internet was on and off (new system going in)and wasn’t told of this prior to checking in. Connectivity is imperative. Also the fees that are not disclosed until you’re at the front counter. A “parking recapture fee”???? I checked in through the app so never saw this “sign” but then was charged for it. I had to call and ask the front desk what it was after I checked out. That’s quite a shyster way of conducting business. Again I would expect much more from a Hilton property.

Roaches, Weed, Lock Your Doors 11/3/23-11/5/23 What a joint… pun intended. Lobby makes hotel look promising, but let me start the list. *Room: old, bed very uncomfortable, dirty shower curtain, no conditioner. There was a fridge and microwave. Hotel: Trouble makers yelling at us upon arrival in parking lot. People smoking very strong weed in lobby, desk clerk sprayed some air freshener to cover it up but allowed it to happen (after midnight Sat into Sun 11/5) . HUGE ROACH in 1st floor hallway by room 118 on wall. Sunday checkout 12pm. Door forced open (until it hit lock) by housekeeper before 9 am startled me out of a sleep. This was followed by a phone call from front desk to confirm we did not check out w the rest of our group. Not even 30 mins later, they tried to barge into our room AGAIN! We were not dresser and now I’m pissed and complained to front desk. Get your staff in order!! Forcing the door open without knocking?!?! Try calling the room first how about that?!? Positive: breakfast staff super friendly. Front desk staff friendly. Car wasn’t vandalized. Cute cat in parking lot.

Attention to the details My experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Hampton Coliseum was rather disappointing. The property appears to be quite dated, and it's evident that there's a lack of attention to detail. There were numerous missed chances to enhance the overall customer experience, which left me feeling underwhelmed. In my opinion, this hotel is best considered as a last resort when there are no other options available.

It's always a Great stay at the Hampton Garden Inn Hampton Coliseum Central! This is our go-to hotel when we visit our Navy son & wife in Hampton, Virginia. It's in a great and quiet location with plenty of choices of restaurants. The hotel staff are so friendly & helpful, and make the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well-appointed!
