No reservations but we got the king room We didn't make reservations because we thought it would be easy to find a place to stay. Thankfully, even though the parking lot was pretty full, we still got the king room we wanted! Everything was spotless and smelled nice! Drenda, one of the managers, checked us in and was so hospitable! She was so friendly and continued to tell us if we need anything to just let her know! They have a nice indoor pool and if we had stayed more than one night I would have loved to have tried it out!

Great place to stop over in Harlan! I stayed here for an extended period this past month. Generally, the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was neat and clean. The housekeeping staff did a great job! The beds were comfortable and the shower was probably one of the best hotel showers I have had in a long time. However, the breakfasts pictured on the Trip Advisor Website are not accurate (the hotel website just says "full breakfast". What this entailed was cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sandwiches, Waffles, maybe fruit (at least once when we were staying there the fruit was out), and coffee and juice. It was all tasty, just not what we expected. Also, the pool was out of order, but that was temporary and didn't hugely affect our trip.

Organizers and Travel Agencies must watch-out for this hotel GM will just hang up the phone because she is not interested. Due to the limited number of hotels in the area, this management got too spoiled, it seems. But hanging up the phone on my face was just too much.

Nice stay We stayed one evening there and the staff was very nice! We did have to switch rooms because the air conditioner was loud but that was NO problem! The second room the toilet did clog up a few times and we had to call the front desk to ask the people above us to calm their children down which was taken care of immediately! The pool was nice to swim in not too warm or cool just right. Breakfast was fantastic, real bacon and eggs!! The sausage gravy was very good for a hotel free breakfast! Actually, one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had, many options! It is an older hotel. The beds were comfortable, they are on the harder side but that is what I like, slept great! The price of the room was a bit high but with military rate made it much more reasonable! My family and I were very pleasantly happy ,as I said with the few problems we had I would stay again with NO problem! Just get a room on the second floor. Thank you

Way better than most This is not your average Quality Inn. It is extremely clean, comfortable, with no obvious signs of wear and tear. The staff is amazing and probably deserves a raise! They are genuinely friendly, English-speaking locals, from the front desk clerks right through housekeeping and maintenance. They were able to tell me a lot about the town. I travel a lot, and I was pleasantly surprised to see an actual freezer along with the little refrigerator. I wish all hotels would do that. You'll be pleasantly surprised!
