No suite night here Staying here now and could not be more disappointed. The room is hot, dark and dirty. I was granted a suite night reward and what a joke, do not waste your time or reward. This hotel has the potential to be very nice with a little love. Unfortunately the staff are going through the motions. No smiles here and when I called about switching rooms she said “all the rooms are the same”. Wow! Basically a don’t bother lady you’re stuck. Wear your flip flops and make the best of a bad situation. The sad part is I moved to this hotel because I had such a bad experience here with Marriott all week and wanted to treat myself the night before my flight home. No rest for the weary and no suite night for this platinum elite member who is just a few nights away from titanium.

Not up to Sheraton standards This particular hotel needs an overhaul. I reserved a club room weeks in advance of our trip. The day before we were to arrive I received an email that told us the restaurant was closed because of COVID, but I suspect there is more to it and I wish I had been told this when I reserved as I was expecting a full-service hotel. This was a disappointment, however there are convenient restaurants nearby. Here are the reasons for my rating of POOR: *Cleanliness of the room: The recycle bin had items from the previous guests. The tub had hairs all over it. *Need repairs: The window had a puddle of water on the window sill from the recent rain storm. The refrigerator was leaking a fluid. The bathroom room makeup-mirror's lights did not work. *Needs a refresh: The carpet was stained and the room just looked tired. *Value: The Club room was the most pitiful that I have seen. I spoke with another customer in the AM and he had already complained to the front desk about the lack of stock and that about fifteen teenager were using the room as their personal party space. (I witnessed it as well and nothing was done.) I really do not think that I should have been sold the Club room amenities when there was no food and it was overrun with unruly and unsupervised guests. *A staff member knocked on our door early in the AM (before 8:00 AM I think) presumably to clean the room, but we had certainly not checked out. *The check-in staff person was rude, I did not get her name. On the plus side the beds were comfortable.

Broken sums it up The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are really trying and are really handling the onslaught of complaints that they are receiving very well. Broken beds. Broken elevators. No towels. “Full service” restaurant that really is only open Friday - Sunday morning. Short story - we checked in Friday for a 5 night stay that wound up being a 2 night stay since this hotel is a disaster. We stay at Marriotts because the brand has certain standards - this hotel does not deserve to be part of the Marriott portfolio. Check in - great! We had two rooms booked, received connecting rooms - perfect. We were given free breakfast coupons for Saturday and Sunday for the hot breakfast buffet. Directed to A wing elevators - only to walk the entire hotel and back to the D wing where our room was located. Why? Because the D Wing elevators have been broken for months. Awesome. We opened our rooms to find peeling wallpaper and a broken king bed. Awesome. But, I figured it couldn’t be so bad because we had connecting rooms and knew the hotel was sold out. I was wrong - terrible night sleep. The next day I requested for the bed to be fixed. Twice - because the first time no one came to look at it. The next time a nice guy came, saw it, then brought another guy back with a bunch of tools and wood. They attempted to fix the bed, but by the next morning it looked the same as it originally did - completely sunken in the middle. Ugh!! Upon check in, our room was stocked with towels. We used them all after spending the day outside. We requested more at around 8 pm only to be told there we none available, but we would be put on the list. A list for towels at a full service hotel? What? By noon the next day there were still no towels available. The chat feature from the Marriott app is only answered by Vicki (who is great - so hope she is on if you choose to stay here). Otherwise your request will go ignored from the chat (as ours did from the night prior when I requested toilet paper). The chat just sits there unanswered forever. Then, I tried to call the front desk from the room phone - the low battery light was blinking even though it was hung up - so, I resorted to calling from my cell and my call was never answered. Awesome. I went to the desk to request toilet paper instead because there was none in either of our rooms. Cathy the bartender is great! She provided great service and a listening ear. We could see she was sad that the hotel has really gone downhill from what it once was. Apparently, back in the day it was an amazing spot where everyone wanted to be. Let me assure you. No one wants to be here now. The “restaurant.” Let me help you - if you are given free breakfast coupons, thank them and say no thanks. The staff is again great. They are trying. But, the breakfast buffet was tasteless on Saturday morning and dinner buffet was so unappealing that we couldn’t bring ourselves to try it Friday night we arrived and were very hungry. For a full service restaurant- this leaves a lot to be desired. It’s apparently only open on the weekend - no weekday service. Oh, and the credit card system in the restaurant is broken - so you can only room charge or pay cash. Apparently that has been broken for months too. Awesome. Garbage - literal garbage is sitting in the hallways waiting to be picked up because that is what guests are instructed to do with it. Disgusting. Sadly - this hotel is trying to do a cash grab on the weekends by booking 350 rooms that they cannot service. Then, they scale back the number of rooms that they book during the week so the 5 housekeepers can work through cleaning the rooms from the weekend and do it all again the next weekend. They cannot keep up and shouldn’t be forced to. Please only book rooms you can actually service and provide supplies for. I’m embarrassed for you and sadly your staff is embarrassed too.

Avoid this hotel. It’s a mess Avoid this hotel. For some reason they decided to allow the hotel to sell out but don’t have the staff to maintain the hotel. No linens, dirty, it’s a zoo. The hotel hasn’t been updated in years, things are broken and are not fixed. Phones in rooms don’t work, elevators don’t work. Not sure how this hotel meets brand standards.
