10+ One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. One of the most affordable ones too. SUPER clean, professional employees, and a FULL continental breakfast. They only charged regular tax…not a bunch of fees and extra costs. Will look at Holiday inn Expresses to stay at from now on.

Friendly staff, good breakfast We stayed here due to a wedding about 20-30 minutes away. Staff mentioned there were several groups there for weddings in the area. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

If you have kids and want to relax? Do not stay here! We have stayed at this hotel for a couple of years now for state wrestling. We recommend this hotel to all of our families to stay. Until now. We checked in to the hotel and the lady at the front desk said no food or drink whatsoever in the pool area, and she WILL be patrolling the pool. So as our kids are in the pool we stood outside the door with our drinks. The same front desk lady said “can I help you?” We responded no thank you we are drinking outside the door and watching our kids” she replied “ I hope you can get to your kid in time” also no housekeeping what so ever. This will be the last time we stay. It’s disappointing to pay for a room, patron the hotel, and feel like a prisoner. Literally being watched, and no above and beyond treatment. What a sad thing for holiday inn express.

So lucky we found this place! We luckily stumbled upon this hotel in the middle of the night traveling from Colorado to Iowa. Literally the last hotel room left in the state of Nebraska and we found it (because obviously the only thing to do in Nebraska is sleep or drive thru it). While it’s an annoying 20 minutes off in the interstate, it was worth it. HUGE double Queen room that was large enough for our extra cot for our extra kid and it was sparkling clean. There were tons of kids in the hallways running around in the morning when we woke up, because some parents suck and don’t give a crap that other people could possibly be sleeping at 8am, but we had no idea because the walls and doors were soundproof. Bravo Holiday inn! And the breakfast? Huge, so much to choose from, great coffee (at a hotel? What?) and hot. Don’t hesitate to leave the interstate and sleep in this gem of a chain hotel in the middle of nowhere.

Great Amenities/Convenient Location Just 15 minutes off the I-80, this Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Hastings, NE, was in a convenient location. Loved the fact that it was an easy drive off the I-80. Surrounding it were various amenities for shopping, dining, I only wished I had brought my bike with me because there is a very nice and well maintained walk/bike path just in front of the hotel. There is a lake within walking distance from the hotel via the path. The hotel is set back from the main road. I was very pleased to ask one of the hotel associates who provided me guidance about walking on the path to the Hastings Museum, and it was an easy walk (about 1.5 miles one way). The hotel itself was very nice with many amenities, pool, coin laundry, weight room, business computers. I was pleasantly surprised regarding breakfast. Even though I was told breakfast didn't start until 6:30 a.m., I was down in the breakfast room at 6:15 as I had to leave for business at 6:30. Was grateful that the breakfast was at least partially set up so I could grab a quick bite before checking out. The room was very large, slept well, and had a microwave, refrigerator, and single serve coffee machine. While I didn't utilize the pool/weight room, they were being utilized and looked very clean and well maintained.
