Room Appearance, Bedding, & Bathroom Review The single room looked nice, bright & clean..., w/the white crisp bedding. However, the mattress & the pillows were too hard, causing crooks & tension in my neck. And a couple of the pillows smelled foul, as if they hadn't been sprayed for freshness, and/or, disinfected. The bathroom looked clean, except the shower. There was dark/black soap scum & finger marks among the shower walls & above the fixed, body-wash/shampoo soap dispenser. The shower floor was filthy, w/a curled piece of hair. The shower handles & faucet fixture had water spots, where it hadn't been cleaned & wiped-down. I ended up washing off in the face sink. Another bad & scary experience..., a man, alleged Manger/owner tried coming in my room (apprx. 10:49 am, before 11:00 am chk out time); had disengaged the door lock, and stuck his hand inside my door, attempting to fold back the top door latch w/intentions to entering my room. All the clacking noise woke me, and that's when I looked towards the wall, nearly floor-length mirror..., and saw his hand moving back the top latch!!! I talked real ugly & aggressive to him, too stop!! He said, no one had told him I was extending my stay, and it was check out time. I told him, check out time wasn't until 11:00 am. I've never experienced Nothing like that, Never in my life!!! On top of that, after finding my Invoice on the floor (after the desk clerk slid it under the door..., they didn't even honor or give me my Military/veteran discount ... I told the check-in Clerk, and showed her my D.L., upon checking it (the D.L., shows disabled veterans status, at the bottom). I am applauded, I was treated w/such disrespect, and discourtesy, in my own hometown, Henderson, Tx.

Doesn’t Honor 3rd Party Reservations I booked a King Leisure. I got a small 2 queen bed room. I asked the front desk why and if there is a price difference. She said “You booked 3rd party so….” So I guess that’s frowned upon here. She made it real clear she didn’t care that I didn’t get the room I RESERVED. I stay in hotels 150+ nights a year and this is one, I will not return to and this is why I avoid Holiday Inns.

Above average Very nice and clean. Love Holiday Inn Express because they are always reliable. This one was no exception - well maintained, comfortable and quiet. The bed and linens were excellent - slept very well! Breakfast was good and the lady working it was friendly and kept everything well stocked. Would stay here again.

Very nice. We haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn for years, but stopped here because it was convenient. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was exceptional. Front desk employee was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Concierge is some of the best in the Nation! This is a great property right on the main highway in Henderson. Had stayed at the Baymont in Henderson 2 years ago which was great , but glad we had the Holiday Inn available as the Baymont was booked. They had run out of standard double rooms so they moved us to a suite on the 2nd floor. The size of the suite was fantastic and was so much room and the living room area was a whole nice separate room. The suite had 2 sleeper sofas and 2 televisions. If I return in the near future I would want to stay in the suite again. It was perfect for us as my wife and young son accompanied me on this trip. There were a few snafus but the front desk staff was very accommodating or very understanding and compassionate to address any issues. They were minor and we made it through. For one the refrigerator did not work properly but the staff offered for us to refrigerate our cold juices and bottled water along with our insulin in their refrigerators downstairs. On day 2 they brought us a re replacement fridge that worked perfect. 2. The elevator was down for a while on the second day but they were quick to repair it as well. It would not have been fun making multiple trips down the stairs on check out day to take all of our luggage back to our car. 3. The cleaning staff did not come to clean the room but again the front desk staff was quick to get us fresh towels and linens. 4. The pancake machine in the breakfast room was out of order but again the staff informed us at check in on the first night. What made the place better was the constant attentiveness to their guests that the concierge takes to accomodate the guests. The breakfast had great hot and cold choices such as biscuits and gravy, southwest style omelettes, danishes, cereals, sausage both pork and turkey and a plethora of other choices. The pool is nice and outdoors but downpour rains we were not able to enjoy it. But due to weather totally understandable. Workout room is nice and overall the hotel is very clean and once again the front staff was amazing!
